Charles Pond with the Association of Former CCISD Trustees wrote a great article about voting for a CCISD Trustee. Two seats are open this year with the election in May. I have my favorites, Trustee Cejka and Candidate Lilley. Both would enhance our Board. You can read the entire article here. My favorite lines of the article:
They are relationship builders. They build positive relationships with all constituents, not just the ones who are like them. A school board member should be a role model for students and the community.
