“Anti Government” group enters League City elections

UPDATE: Candidate Chris Dodson has also refused to attend.

They’re not doing very well.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has added the True Texas Project to their list of extremist organizations categorized as a general anti-government organization. The local group has attempted to enter the League City elections by holding a forum for the candidates. Unfortunately only one, the book burner an Nick Long’s boy, Courtney Chadwell, has accepted the invitation. Here is the line up:

I don’t think Ange or Dodson knows who the TTP is or who Joshua is. Joshua is leading the book banning charge in League City roaming the kids section of the library searching for books that say pee-pee or wee-wee. His group has had speakers advocating for Texas to secede from the United States (a really stupid and illegal idea). His group was banned from using the facilities by Buzz Aldrin’s Presbyterian church in Webster for its extreme views which the church did not condone. From the Chronicle:

The group’s lineup of featured speakers indicates its alignment with radical white supremacist and anti-LGBTQ policies. Kelly Neidert, founder and leader of the anti-LGBTQ organization Protect Texas Kids, said she’s slated to be a featured speaker at TTP’s upcoming events

They also have interfaced with Chris Russo, leader of a local anti-immigrant PAC, outed by The Texas Tribune as meeting with a known white supremacist, Nick Fuentes. They supported Bryan Slaton an anti LGBTQ State Representative who was removed from the Texas House for providing alcohol to a minor and they having sex with her.

I’ll make sure Ange and Dodson knows who they are meeting with. Courtney knows who they are. We should know who he is.
