Hundreds call for Keller ISD Trustee to resign

Parents in Keller ISD are not happy.

Hundreds of parents are calling for the resignation of KISD Trustee Micah Young. Young was elected in 2022 and has been caught in a controversy at a KISD High School. According to CBS: KELLER – Parents and students feel their safety and security have been violated after an unauthorized evangelical film crew from the Netherlands entered and filmed at Central High School on Feb 9. without authorization from the school district.

A Trustee who escorted the film crew through the school has already resigned and hundred of parents have called for Young to resign also. He was present when the crew was filming. Young has posted a response to his Facebook page stating:

He has 386 comments and all seem to be calling for him to resign. Even the President of the Board has called for his resignation. Young should resign and if he doesn’t someone needs to file a grievance against him. Parents should also file against the film crew. Here is just a sample of the responses.
