Just in time to get healthcare subsidies for life.
Congressman Troy Nehls out of Richmond Texas is calling it quits after just 6 years in office. Nehls was elected in 2020 in a year that Joe Biden won against Trump. Nehls has a shady, racist, past from his time as Sheriff of Fort Bend County. He was fired the Richmond Police Department. He was also was caught profiling Latinos in speed traps. He then ran for Congress.
As a Congressman he was as ineffective as AOC. He failed to pass any bills he sponsored including House Bill 691, a bill to rename the Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia as the ‘‘Donald J. Trump International Airport’’. He has sponsored 261 bills, none were signed into law, all have been left in committee and died.
Nehls received media attention during the Jan 6 riots when he stared down the rioters who were attempting to enter the House Chambers. He eventually cut and ran as did his colleagues. Nehls later approved the pardon of the rioters including those convicted by a jury of seditious conspiracy and were serving 30 years in federal prison.
Lucky for Nehls he is under the Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) and is eligible for a pension after just 6 years. For his 6 years of service he will recieve $962/month for the rest of his life. But WAIT! There is more! Unlike the 24 Million on the Affordable Care Act, Nehls and his wife will continue to receive his healthcare subsidies from the government for life! That’s almost FREE healthcare!
So Mr. conservative Law and order, don’t let the door hit you in the ass.
