Who’s Running to Representative the Bay Area in Austin?

January 8, 2026

There are two Republicans running in the Texas House District 129 primary who will face a Democrat in November. I’ll cover the Republicans today.

For the last 10 years the Bay Area has been represented by State Representative Dennis Paul. The cost of living in the Bay Area has skyrocketed with insurance rates going out the roof including home, auto, and healthcare. Paul, who sat on the Insurance Committee, did nothing to curb the increases. He is now running for State Senate. We deserve better.

Scott Bowen. CCISD voters probably remember former CCISD Trustee Scott Bowen. They voted him out of office last year and the district has been better for it. He brought division, chaos, and bigoted attacks on parents, teachers and students. I have nothing good to say about Bowen. Not only does he wear suits 2 sizes too small, he is an awkward individual and has proven to be unable to govern or lead but he will be able to follow orders from Greg Abbott. He will do what he is told and nothing else. If elected I see Bowen going no where and providing no relief to us. He will simply take a knee to Abbott. (literally) Republicans in the Bay Area deserve better.

Robert Mitchell. I was taken back a bit when I saw Mitchell’s campaign sign advertising himself as a “Trump conservative”. I’m not sure if that is going to work in his favor but then again, WTF do I know, Republicans voted for him three times already! Unlike Bowen, Mitchell has the background to legislate. From his website:

Bob Mitchell, former president of the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, is a Republican candidate for Texas House. Bob is a strong conservative, trusted community and business leader, two-time Governor Abbott appointee, graduate of Dobie High School, and a proud lifelong resident of House District 129–the Bay Area of Houston encompassing parts of Clear Lake, El Lago, Friendswood, La Porte, League City, Nassau Bay, Pasadena, Pearland, Seabrook, Shoreacres, Taylor Lake Village, and Webster.

I have to agree. I don’t believe the business community is behind Bowen. If they were he would still be a CCISD Trustee but is that enough for Mitchell to win? I thought this race would be Conservatives vs MAGAts but his campaign signs make me think differently.

It would be nice if the real Conservatives would take back their party. Everyone in HD129 deserves better!

Who’s Running for Galveston County District Attorney

January 7, 2026

This will determine if Galveston County returns to law and order or continues the slide into lawlessness. In defense of Jennifer Ott I bet she had no idea who Joseph Lowry is and will probably treat him like a used diaper in the future.

Two individuals are running for Galveston County DA, Jennifer Ott and Kenneth Cusick. Cusick is currently the DA. He was appointed by Governor Abbott and is endorsed by Abbott. Jennifer Ott has an incredible resume for the job. You can review her resume here. Cusick also has an impressive resume. You can read that one here.

Cusick has support from Sheriff Fullen. Fullen has a history of breaking the law (documented at https://therealtruejimmyfullen.com) to the point that his law enforcement license was suspended. He also posted a fake $100,000 loan to his campaign finance report during his election. The ethics complaint filed against him was deemed to be “confidential” therefore the action the Texas Ethics Commission took against him is now secret. After the complaint Fullen simply filed an amended report without the loan. Yep, law and order my ass.

Again Ott has a very impressive resume especially her vision for Galveston County which focuses on integrity within the office. From her website:

Jennifer Ott believes the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office should be beyond reproach. There should never be a question as to what their ethical responsibility is to the Office and more importantly, the community and those involved in the legal system. When others see leaders making ethical decisions being transparent they are more likely to follow suit. Jennifer will implement comprehensive policies and procedures to reinforce ethical behavior. The community, whether it is the citizens, law enforcement, victims, defendants or law enforcement should never have to question whether the District Attorney’s Office is doing the right thing.

Cusick on the other hand is focused on the boogey man issues like immigration and “wokeness” (whatever that means). I doubt if he is really interested in immigration. If he was he would be going after all the businesses in Galveston County who employ those who might be here illegally like homebuilders and restaurants.

One thing I might suggest for these two is to be afraid of La Marque City Councilman Joseph Lowry. Be very afraid.

Happy Jan 6! For those who celebrate it.

January 6, 2026

Remember to get your flag, bear spray, and zip ties and show how much you appreciate law enforcement and law and order. Gather with other Republicans and watch the video below of the Jan 6 patriots singing the National Anthem. Be proud of what you support.

More Tax Liens Against La Marque Council Member

January 1, 2026

Happy New Year! Hopefully Lowry will exit the political arena and go back to paying his bills and taxes.

In 2025 Joseph Lowry made a partial payment of back taxes owed to Galveston County. According to the tax office he owed $22,460 for 2021, 2022, and 2023. On Jan 6, 2025 he made a partial payment in cash. He still owes for 2024 and 2025. Unfortunately he had more tax problem from the IRS back in 2023 and 2025 as well as the State of Texas in 2020. Lowry has had delinquent tax problems on the County, State and Federal level.

According to records provided by Galveston County the IRS filed a lien against his company, Six Brothers Concrete Pumping for over $16,000. In 2025 a lien was filed for over $67,000. Both liens were released by June of 2025.

But wait! There’s more! In 2020 the State of Texas filed a lien for delinquent taxes for over $10,000. He eventually paid this in late 2021. According to this document he owed over $2,500 in city taxes which completes the cycle of delinquent taxes on the Federal, State, County, and City level. Lowry likes to flash around wads of cash like he did to ABC 13 to pay his team of investigators and lawyers but he doesn’t have enough to pay his damn taxes like everyone else.

Law Enforcement Agency Fishing in La Marque

December 30, 2025
Lowry and Detective Anthony C. Rogers

It’s CLEAT. Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas.

Recently CLEAT, specifically the La Marque Police Association, was referenced in a fake email submitted by City Council Member Joseph Lowry. Mr Chicken Little, submitted this email to Council during executive session with concerns about extending the contract of Interim City Manager Holly. As the Galveston Daily News stated, the LMPA didn’t write the email. It is believed an investigation is ongoing as it should be. The individual who sent the email to Lowry, Impoliceassociation@gmail.com, immediately deleted the account.

CLEAT is now fishing for records between the former Police Chief, who resigned in disgrace, Cesar Garcia and Christine Turner. Cesar was the City Manager and resigned in Jan of 2025. Christine Turner is the Financial Director for La Marque. One thing is for sure. CLEAT is for CLEAT. Whatever they are fishing for with their Public Information Request 25-541 is in defense of CLEAT or the La Marque Police Association who has cuddled up with Joseph Lowry.

Galveston Police Detective Anthony C. Rogers and President of the LMPA is involved with Lowry. That can’t be good. Happy fishing!

Before You Sign the La Marque Recall

December 30, 2025
Including Fake DBAs

Do yourself a favor and research who filed the recall against Mayor Keith Bell.

City Councilman Chicken Little, Lowry filed a recall petition and is now soliciting signatures. If he can obtain the required number of valid signatures the City will spent a considerable amount of time and money to put the recall to the voters. This isn’t the first time Lowry has submitted a recall petition. In 2022 prior to being elected to office, he filed a recall of Bell. It failed. Then he filed a recall against Council Member Yancy. It also failed.

The Yancy recall had some questionable signatures gained by telling those who signed, the petition was to keep Yancy on Council. Lowry told Click2Houston: ““I got wind of it yesterday and they terminated the employee. He was terminated and they threw out a hundred signatures that he had collected just to be safe,” said Lowry.”

La Marque residents might want to review Lowry’s past. I’ve listed 20 reasons that should concern everyone including the Domestic Violence Protective Order that was placed on him. Let me add a few more:

Mayor Bell has filed a response to the fake allegations of the recall petition. If by chance he can get the signatures I could see legal action to invalidate the petition due to false information presented to the voters. We shall see….

Lawsuit Against La Marque Councilman Reinstated

December 29, 2025

As reported earlier Civil Case #202107817 TOMCZAK, MARTIN vs. SIX BROTHERS CONCRETE PUMPING LLC filed in Harris County was “Dismissed for Want of Prosecution. From what I read the plaintiff was unable to attend a hearing because of technical difficulties. A motion was filed and granted to reinstate the suit against Councilman Joseph Lowry the owner of Six Brothers Concrete.

The case concerns a non compete clause signed by Martin Tomczak. According to the court documents Martin claims Lowry threatened him and potential employers with lawsuits based upon this non compete document leaving Tomczak unemployed. One of the documents submitted to the court is a list of texts and correspondence from Lowry. You can read the entire 27 pages here

It will be interesting to attend the trial.

Sexual Harassment of City Employee Goes Unpunished in La Marque

December 28, 2025

Whose leg do you have to hump to get charged with sexual harassment at the workplace?

If you had sent a cookie cake to an employee with “Recalls These Balls”, or referred to a female employee as a “snatch”, or wrote a poem directed at a member of City Council referring to your ball sack, you would have been fired. Immediately. And possibly charged with sexual harassment. Yet so far law enforcement on all levels have done nothing against La Marque City Councilman Joseph Lowry contributing to a hostile work environment.

WTF are they waiting for? Lowry has been warned by the city attorneys to refrain from using sexually suggestive language towards city employees, yet he did it again. Twice. Once using the slur in a response to his Lousy News Network post and again in a video. (Comment is at 34:24). Yet nothing is happening and there is no main stream media attention to his actions.

This is gross behavior. It is illegal behavior. It’s beneath a human being. It needs to be addressed. He needs to be removed from Council. This just can’t go on any longer. 2026 needs to be the end of the line for Lowry.

Do something.

Bay Area Houston. The Year in Review

December 28, 2025

The year was dominated by La Marque City Councilman Joseph Lowry.

Joseph Lowry. In 2024 the chaos in League City ended (pretty much) when Councilman Justin Hicks resigned in disgrace probably to avoid charges from the DA. That’s when Joseph Lowry and La Marque took over. In just over a couple of years Lowry has racked up quite a resume including multiple harassment lawsuits, police reports, a Domestic Violence Protective Order, multiple censures by the Council, failure to pay $43,000 in taxes, multiple media stories, multiple recalls, sexual harassment of La Marque employees, his Facebook page being deleted multiple times, and continuous public harassment of individuals on social media and in public. WHEW! You can review all of this here. His constant running around yelling about baseless criminal allegations against council and those who challenge him has resulted in the title of Chicken Lowry. Hopefully Lowry will make a deal with the District Attorney and do what Justin Hicks did and just go away in lieu of felony charges.

Scott Bowen got his ass kicked by CCISD parents who were fed up with his partisan attacks on public education. Instead they voted for a reasonable candidate and the Board and the District are better off for it. Bowen being caught on film sponsoring a resolution within the Republican Party in support of Vouchers didn’t help. He got hammered for it in the election. Bowen is now running for State Representative where he will take a knee to Greg Abbott and basically do what the fuck he is told what to do.

Galveston County Sheriff Jimmy Fullen got away with something even Hunter Biden couldn’t get away with. He falsified government documents. The falsification of his application to run for Sheriff was so egregious the Texas Commission On Law Enforcement recommended his law enforcement license to be revoked. Instead of admitting to breaking the law Fullen got off with a suspension back dated prior to his election as Sheriff. In other words they didn’t do shit. Lucky for Fullen his name wasn’t Hunter Biden.

Seabrook voters kept the city from taking over for League City rejecting 4 of 5 radical right candidates including Jackie Rasco running for Mayor. Seabrook has since been relatively quiet. Rasco as you remember was caught up in a nasty police situation at her home with a nosy neighbor, an intoxicated minor, a gun, $3000 worth of damage, and an arrest. She lost. Seabrook elected a very talented Mayor and Council.

Joe Machol, one of Scott Bowen’s recruited candidates ran against a sitting School Board Trustee, Jessica Cejka. Lucky for CCISD Machol lost, big time. Machol like the other Bowen recruits had no business being near a public school. He was one of the worst candidates to ever run for a school board election. Early in the campaign I asked why he was running against a very effective member of the board. He ghosted me.

Home Insurance continued to skyrocket with homeowners meeting to address the problem. Elected officials such as State Representative Dennis Paul who has sat on the insurance committee for the House and out State Senator Money Mayes Middleton have done nothing to curb the premiums. With elections coming up this year maybe the voters will vote their values and their pocketbooks.

NASA/JSC was facing site closing cuts to their budget with the proposed cutting of the Orion project, heavy launch vehicle, and the Moon Space Station all while our elected officials sat quietly with their thumbs up their butts. Cornyn and Cruz came to the rescue proposing to bring a real Shuttle from Washington DC to Houston. (It ain’t going to happen folks) Lucky for NASA the proposal was going to give 25% of NASA’s budget to SpaceX….until Musk got crosseyed with Trump.

In other news, the far left of the Harris County Democrats passed yet another worthless resolution against Mayor Whitmire giving us bad press and continuing to chase away the independent voters who are looking for effective leadership without drama. Speaking of drama, Judge Lina Hidalgo decided not to run for re-election. Good luck. Former Harris County DA Kim Ogg left the party. Good riddance. And Mayor Whitmire will probably not run for re-election. Good idea.

Happy new year!

Vacation Review: Big Bend Park III

December 27, 2025

This was my third time to solo hike in Big Bend.

I wrote about my second trip staying in Terlingua. You can read about it here. I stayed again at the La Posada Milagro. It’s walking distance to the Starlight Theatre and other restaurants. It is a really nice place. Has a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and two patios.

My first day of hiking took me to the Big Bend State Park just a few miles down the road. I hiked the Closed Canyon Trail. It was absolutely perfect weather with most of the hike in the shade. It was a short trip only 1.5 miles round trip. It prepared me for the next hike to Emory Peak.

The Emory Peak Trail is a 10.3 mile hike with 2400 ft in elevation. Last year I was able to make it half way. This year I want to make it and I did. It took me 7 hours to finish and the beer at the car was very well deserved. It was the hardest trail I ever tried. The last 50 feet required rock climbing and scared some of the younger folks so I called it a win and started down after about an hour rest. Again perfect weather with a sweatshirt needed in the shade and a t-shirt in the sun. The last 1.5 miles I left my backpack in a locker provided by the park. It made the rest of the trip bearable. The last half mile was real tough. My legs were absolutely killing me but I made it!

The hike down was so much easier except for the steps. With my thighs on fire it was difficult! Thank goodness I had a good hiking pole. All in all the hike was VERY demanding but I made it!!! Next year I think I am going to Palo Duro Canyon but my 10 mile hiking days are over.

Happy Holidays! See you next year!

December 24, 2025

To all of my 5 faithful readers, have a great holiday and I will see you next year.

Harris County Democrats Win One with Whitmire and Lose a lot More

December 21, 2025

Texas State Senator John Whitmire speaks during the M-K-T Bridge reopening ceremony along the Heights Hike and Bike Trail, Friday, May 27, 2022, in Houston.

Stupid. Petty.

Gdamnit. We have a must needed win coming up in November. It’s not an option. We have an out of control dictator wannabe and a republican Congress who lost their balls and won/t hold him accountable. We have to right the ship, take over the House, and keep this god awful mistake of a human being from doing more damage to the country yet the Harris County Democrats are wasting their time and energy on a petty resolution against Mayor Whitmire.

Now far be it from me to defend Whitmire. He has been a huge failure as Mayor. Many expected him to use his 50 years of influence to fix our budget and get our gdamn trash picked up on time. He has failed but I am not going to waste my time fighting over a resolution in the Party to guarantee he will never be endorsed by the very party that doesn’t endorse candidates. It was nothing more than a complete waste of time and we might have lost more than expected.

A small minority of the Precinct Chairs passed a resolution to stop the Party from endorsing Whitmire in future elections. FYI Whitmire’s performance and his age has guaranteed that will never happen. What the Chairs didn’t realize is the harm they might have done to us in November. All we got was a flood of bad press making us look like the Petty Party of Politics. Governor Hot Wheels Abbott is going to spend 20 million to take over Harris County. We need every gdamn vote we can get to get a new County Judge, Commissioners, and Congressional leaders.

To pass a petty resolution by the far left of the party may turn off those voters who are looking for adult leadership. Independent voters are the biggest idiots on the planet and will look to the tinniest, most insignificant, petty, excuse to vote for someone else, like “I just don’t like her” or “emails”. The last thing they will vote for is another Lina Hidalgo spewing pettiness and driving off even members of her own party. Voters have had enough of the cowardliness of the Republican Party and the pettiness of the Democrats.

They want grown ups to lead. As I have said in the past Hidalgo and Whitmire both need to grow up at least for the next year. Do us a huge favor and do your damn job, shut the hell up, and don’t give voters yet another reason to stay home.

Or pass another worthless resolution to strip me of my political power. That I don’t have.

Law Firm Issues Warning to La Marque City Councilman Concerning Sexual Harassment

December 20, 2025

Joseph Lowry is like a constipated two year old. He is full of shit.

Last week Lowry was online crying about being the victim of a hostile work environment created by the City. He looked like someone had just called him out and he, of course, was attempting to flip the issue in his favor. He claimed the City had created a hostile work environment because they wouldn’t had carry the agenda to his lazy ass so he can do his job. (Councilman Compian has volunteered to print, deliver, and read the agenda to Lowry.) (Ok He isn’t really reading it but you get the idea)

Well it turns out that the law firm representing the city sent Lowry an email with a warning to stop making sexual harassment statements against the City Manager. Here is a snippet:

The phrase “corrupt little snatch,” directed at a female city official, employs vulgar slang with clear sexual connotations. This type of sexually charged and derogatory name-calling is inappropriate, unprofessional, and has the potential to contribute to a hostile work environment for city employees. Such language undermines the civility expected in public discourse, erodes public trust in our local government, and may expose the City to unnecessary legal risks.

This isn’t the first time Lowry has made sexual harassment statements. First it was the cookie cake with the message “Recall These Balls” delivered to a city employee. Then there is the cute little poem he wrote about a City Council Member referring to his tiny ball sack. You can see those below.

But that email hasn’t stopped Lowry from using the slur “snatch” when referring to the City Manager. He made the comment on his Lousy News Network and on another video. (Comment is at 34:24) I expect the City will take further action against Lowry and they should.

HCDE Trustee Pleads No Contest to Unauthorized Practice of Law Charge

December 20, 2025

You have to wonder what it takes to get disbarred in Texas.

Harris County Department of Education Trustee Eric Dick was charged with 4 counts of unauthorized practice of law after solicitation clients in Hawaii after the Maui files in 2023. In December of 2025 Dick pled no contest to the charges. (See below) According to his plea he has to pay a fine of $220.

Dick is not up for reelection until 2030 but his wife Denise is running for a place on the HCDE Board in the 2026 Republican Primary.

Being charged for the Unauthorized Practice of Law is just another in a series of of bad news facing Dick including:

What The Hell did Trump Do Today? Day 328

December 19, 2025

Let me catch up. With a neutered Republican Party Trump can do anything, say anything. And he has.

He had a disaster of a speech to America. It was nothing more than a 20 minute ramblings and yelling of an old man with nothing good to say. I was expecting him to raise a fist and yell GET OFF MY LAWN! As expected he blamed Biden for everything. You can read the fact check here. You can watch the entire segment here.

The Kennedy Center was renamed to the Trump Kennedy Center. The board of the Kennedy Center voted to rename it but not officially. The Center was named the Kennedy Center by Congress and can only be changed by Congress but that hasn’t stopped the Board from doing it anyway. Since the Republicans lost their balls there will be no challenge.

Trump claims the tariffs provided a $1776 payment to every soldier. That is not true. The payment has absolutely nothing to do with the tariffs. The money is coming from money already appropriated by Congress for military family’s housing costs. So from one pot to another. Of course the neutered republicans will not challenge this.

Secretary of Defense Hegseth has stated he will not release the tape of the war crimes against the survivors of the boat bombing.

La Marque Mayor Responds to the Recall Petition

December 18, 2025

La Marque’s Chicken Little, Councilman Joseph Lowry, filed a recall petition against Mayor Keith Bell. The petition was chock full of lies, misinformation, and baseless allegations. You would think an “undercover investigative journalist” would do his homework before submitting a formal document like a recall petition. Once approved Lowry has 30 days to get over 800 signatures. Mayor Bell has filed a challenge to the recall. I’ll let you read his response below:

OFFICIAL WRITTEN RESPONSE TO RECALL AFFIDAVIT Mayor Keith Bell – City of La Marque, Texas Pursuant to the City of La Marque Charter, I submit this response to the affidavit seeking my removal from office. The allegations contained in the affidavit are false, unsupported by evidence, and largely repetitive of claims that have been raised and rejected previously. I categorically deny each allegation and provide the following factual corrections for the record. This response is submitted to ensure accuracy, protect the integrity of the City’s governance process, and allow reviewing authorities and residents to rely on verifiable facts rather than speculation or misinformation. —

1. Allegation: I Do Not Reside in the City of La Marque This allegation is demonstrably false. I am a resident of the City of La Marque and have lived in La Marque for more than thirty (30) years. Documentation establishing my residency includes, but is not limited to: A recorded deed showing ownership of my home located in La Marque A valid Texas Driver’s License listing my La Marque address (included by the affiant in his own submission) Galveston County Appraisal District records listing my La Marque residence A voter registration card listing my La Marque address A voting history reflecting consistent participation as a La Marque voter These documents conclusively establish my residency and eligibility to serve as Mayor under the City Charter and Texas law. —

2. Allegation: Acceptance of Bribes or Corruption This allegation is false and unsupported. I have never accepted a bribe, engaged in corruption, or violated my oath of office during my twenty-two (22) years of public service to the City of La Marque. I have never been: Investigated Charged Indicted Tried Convicted Found liable Or administratively sanctioned for any act of corruption or misconduct. No evidence, findings, judicial rulings, or investigative determinations have ever substantiated this allegation. The affidavit provides no proof because none exists. —

3. Allegation: Lack of Fitness for Duty This allegation is false and without foundation. I have served the City of La Marque continuously for twenty-two (22) years as a Councilmember, Mayor Pro Tem, and Mayor. At no point during this period has my fitness for duty been questioned by voters, medical professionals, courts, or governing authorities. The affiant is not a licensed physician, mental health professional, or qualified evaluator and has no authority or basis to make such a determination. This allegation did not arise until the affiant’s arrival in La Marque politics and is inconsistent with my long record of service. —

4. Allegation: Failure to Maintain Order in Council Meetings This allegation misrepresents the facts. Council meetings are conducted pursuant to adopted rules of procedure. Any disorder that has occurred has resulted from the affiant’s repeated refusal to recognize the presiding officer and comply with established meeting protocols. No other Councilmember has engaged in similar conduct, and this issue did not exist prior to the affiant’s participation in City governance. Enforcement of decorum rules is not a failure of leadership; it is an exercise of leadership in maintaining orderly government proceedings. —

5. Allegation: Improper Hiring of City Manager JB Pritchett This allegation is false and misleading. The City Council voted to hire Mr. JB Pritchett following a lawful selection process. The City Charter requires the City Manager to possess municipal government experience. Mr. Pritchett was the only finalist who met this charter-mandated qualification. As such, he was the only legally eligible candidate under the City Charter. The Council’s action complied fully with charter requirements and applicable law. Council considered all information we had on Mr. Pritchett that we had at the time, including his officially submitted resume and a cleared background check of Mr. Pritchett by a nationally recognized company. —

6. Allegation: Raising Taxes for 22 Years This allegation is false. My voting record demonstrates that I have not voted to raise the City tax rate during my twenty-two (22) years of service. This information is a matter of public record and can be independently verified by any resident reviewing Council voting history. —

7. Pattern of Repeated False Allegations The allegations contained in this affidavit are not new. The affiant has made substantially similar claims since 2021. These claims have repeatedly failed to produce any evidence or result in any legal or electoral relief. This is the second attempt to remove me from office. The prior recall effort failed in 2022. Since that time, I have been: Elected Mayor in 2021 with approximately 85% of the vote Re-elected Mayor in 2024 with approximately 64% of the vote These election outcomes reflect the confidence of La Marque voters in my leadership and service. —

Closing Statement I respectfully request that the City Secretary, City Attorney, and any reviewing authority rely on the factual record, verified documentation, and applicable provisions of the City Charter and Texas law when evaluating this affidavit. I will continue to focus on the lawful, transparent, and professional administration of City business and on improving the quality of life for residents of the City of La Marque. Respectfully submitted, Keith Bell Mayor, City of La Marque, Texas

Veiled Threats and Sexual Harassment by La Marque City Councilman

December 18, 2025

What the living fuck is wrong with La Marque’s Chicken Little, City Councilman Joseph Lowry?

As reported yesterday Lowry created a hostile work environment within the city of La Marque by sending a sexually suggestive cookie cake to a city employee. The message “Recall These Balls” was in reference to a recall petition filed against him. Later in the day he did it again this time targeting a contract employee, specifically the Interim City Manager Barbara Holley using a vulgar word. Even before making these two sexually suggestive comments Lowry posted a vulgar poem targeting Councilmember Yancy. You can see all three below.

But he couldn’t stop. Later in the day Lowry posted a veiled threat targeting specific individuals including elected officials and citizens of the City. Those on the list has been encouraged to contact law enforcement and demand action.

Throughout the day Lowry posted videos acting like he was the victim in all of the commotion he has started including one of him submitting a recall petition chock full of misinformation that was eventually heavily redacted. This cause him to run to the police whining like a little bitch to file a complaint.

Galveston law enforcement can no longer sit back and do nothing. Sexual harassment can create a hostile work environment resulting in lawsuits against the city and county. Threats can result in lawsuits as well as criminal charges. These need to stop.

Immediately.

La Marque City Councilman Meltdown Caught on Video

December 17, 2025

OMG! Something is happening in La Marque Texas concerning the Republican Councilman nut job Joseph Lowry.

Lowry just released a video of himself, once again, making all kinds of baseless allegations directed at the Interim City Manager Barbara Holley. (Do yourself a favor and watch it at The Mark Facebook page!) The Chicken Little of La Marque made baseless claims of corruption, shadow governments, political warfare, bribery, drug use, and more and it is getting old. Yesterday he was denied a meeting with the District Attorney for the second time. They probably are tired of his baseless claims also. His video is almost funny. Boo-hoo-hoo.

On top of that Lowry posted a long winded complaint about Ms Holley claiming she is using her official position to research his past and correspondence with the police chief and attorney. This video mentions a “hostile work environment” and an individual was put on leave for a month, which might mean that individuals filed suit against Lowry or the City of La Marque. I am speculating that it has something to do with his “Recall These Balls” cookie cake his wife presented to an employee after a recall was filed against him. According to BZ Watchdog who has grabbed onto the leg of Lowry, the incident, if true, is ripe for legal action:

So something might have happened today. I am sure the Galveston Daily News will report it.

Galveston County Law Enforcement MIA in La Marque

December 16, 2025

What does it take to get the DA off their ass and do something about La Marque City Councilman Joseph Lowry?

The City of La Marque was infected with a virus a couple of years ago causing considerable amount of damage not only to the city but to individuals and their employment. Councilman Joseph Lowry’s history of harassment of employees, Council Members, and constituents have been well documented leading to two recall petitions. Reasons to recall and remove Lowry have been documented in “Top Ten Reasons to Recall La Marque Council Member Joseph Lowry” (There are actually 20 reasons) These reasons include his Domestic Violence Protective Order against him, numerous lawsuits for harassment and defamation, his unpaid back taxes, and now his illegal drone solicitation to name just a few.

Yet where is the La Marque Police? Where is the District Attorney? There have been a number of complaints filed with both organizations against Lowry and yet no action has been taken. Instead LMPD took the time to file charges against a 70 year old woman who made them aware of a fake Facebook account created in her name. As a sitting councilman Lowry made a sexual comment toward city employees after the first recall petition in the form of a giant cookie with the message “RECALL THESE BALLS”. Lowry and his wife continues to harass City employees, City Council Members and the Mayor with baseless accusations of bribery and corruption. He has harassed constituents at restaurants and filed numerous police reports with at least one ending in a guns pointed confrontation of a citizen of La Marque at his own home. He is so toxic the new DA has refused to meet with him. (video of Lowry whining about it is here.)

Yet LMPD and the DA are MIA. Unfortunately for Lowry his harassment and the inaction of law enforcement has drawn the attention of a couple of Police “Auditors”, Harvey Freebird and BZ Watchdog. Both have huge followings and are well versed in filing open record requests. Harvey has spoken to City Council a number of times concerning the harassment by Lowry and BZ is now following up on the sexual harassment of a city employee by Lowry with his recall cookie stunt. Both of these individuals are not going away.

Maybe the fake email Lowry presented to City Council to stop extending the Interim City Manager’s contract and his solicitation of a drone operator will finally draw the attention of the DA and action will be taken.
