The story about the killing of the two survivors on the drug boat is changing from being called “fake news” by Secretary of Defense Hegseth to the survivors who were clinging on the wreckage was trying to restart the burning boat and continue their drug run. The Admiral in charge of the operation will be testifying in the House this morning. Time Magazine has a good article on Hegseth’s changing story.

The SignalGate report is out today. Trump’s Defense Secretary Hegseth is under scrutiny again. The report by the Pentagon Inspector General has been released. It states “Hegseth risked the safety of U.S. servicemembers by sharing sensitive military information on the Signal messaging app”. DUH! The report also states Hegseth refused to turn over his phone to the IG. NPR has details. Trump is expected to claim the report clears Hegseth of any wrongdoing. In fact Hegseth has already posted “Case closed” on twitter.

Well, at least we aren’t talking about the Epstein files….oh wait… Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have released never-before-seen images of Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous island. The US Virgin Islands provided the images after a subpoena. BBC has the story.

The attack on the drug boat situation is getting worse for the Secretary of Defense. His story has changed a number of times now claiming he never saw the survivors and didn’t know of the second strike. Days after the event he was on Fox News claiming he saw the entire event. Senator Rand Paul said “Hegseth is either lying about second boat strike or incompetent”. He and Trump are now blaming the Admiral who was in charge of the operation. The Admiral is scheduled to attend a hearing on the situation on Thursday. A video from 2016 of Hegseth shows him saying that there must be consequences for those in the military who break the law. Trump fell asleep a number of times during the ass kissing segment of a cabinet meeting. Prior to the segment Trump spewed a number of lies including that drug prices have been reduced by 500%-900% and the economy is roaring. He then went around the table letting each cabinet member tell him how great he is and praising his leadership for burying the Epstein files. During this time Trump fell asleep a number of times. You can watch the entire meeting below. The ass kissing session begins at about 30:15.

Trump was up all night making 160 truth social tweets in just a couple of hours. The tweets were mostly conspiracy theories and rantings of an unhinged lunatic. Now wonder why he fell asleep during the cabinet meeting.

Code Red Gate just got more serious. Department of Defense Pete Hegseth blamed the second attack on the drug boat which killed 2 survivors of the first attack on Admiral Frank Bradley. The White House Press Secretary confirmed the order to kill the survivors was given by Bradley claiming he was well within his authority. This doesn’t make sense. Someone higher up gave Bradley the order, that being Pete Hegseth. Bradley has served honorably for over 30 years. He knows better. He will be speaking to a House Committee in the coming days and will not be the fall guy for Hegseth. If he did authorize this attack he will be held accountable. Trump pardons a drug lord. While keeping America safe by bombing boat filled with drugs Trump has pardoned Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández. Hernandez was convicted of drug smuggling, specifically $400 Million of drugs. He also took bribes during his campaign from Joaquín Guzmán, the infamous Mexican cartel leader known as “El Chapo”, The investigation into Hernandez began under the first trump administration. Hernandez was extradited to the United States and was convicted by a jury to 45 years in prison. Trump claims “He was treated so unfairly”. Sounds familiar?

I will post Monday-Friday with Monday’s post wrapping up the weekend. Hopefully you will find it informative and enough information to understand the issue. With that let’s start with day #314.

On Thanksgiving Trump referred to Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz as “retarded” in a Thanksgiving message to America. This prompted an Indiana Senator to change his vote to oppose a re-redistricting effort because his daughter has Down syndrome and he was insulted by the slur. The Senator obviously wasn’t insulted when trump mocked a disabled American in 2016, or called Mexicans rapists, or his comments about women, gays, muslims, jews, and law enforcement. Trump also referred to a reporter as “stupid” when she asked for him to clarify his administrations vetting of the DC shooter. You can watch the video here.

According to the Washington Post the Department of Defense Hegseth is under fire for authorizing the murder of two survivors of a suspected boat carrying drugs. Senator Mark Kelly stated the Senate Armed Services will hold a public hearing on potentially illegal military orders. This is exactly the situation Kelly was warning the members of the military about in the video made by him and 5 other veteran Congressman. Those who carried out this illegal order could be held accountable. Maybe Kelly got wind of this murder and made the video to prevent further illegal actions that would land military members in jail. When asked about the situation Trump replied “I really don’t know anything about the situation or who Hegseth is. I’ve never met him before”. This story won’t go away.

At least we are not talking about the Epstein files.

After just 9 months on the job the Department of Government Efficiency it is dead. It’s over. DOGE is DONE and the results are staggering. According to research by Rachel Hurley DOGE has resulted in a loss to the United States:

Here’s what the receipts actually show. A Senate investigation found DOGE generated $21.7 billion in waste. Not savings. Waste. The bulk of that – $14.8 billion – went to paying approximately 200,000 federal employees not to work for up to eight months through the Deferred Resignation Program.

But it is much worse. Take some time to read her article. Here is a summary:

• $6.1 billion covered the costs of involuntary separations and administrative leave for people who were fired, then hired back
• productivity losses, paid leave, firing and rehiring mistakes – hit $135 billion
• DOGE-driven workforce cuts would cause a 10% drop in tax revenue – more than $500 billion in lost collections for this year alone.
• DOGE’s entire claimed savings – $205 billion, according to their own website – is dwarfed by the tax revenue they helped rich people avoid paying

And no, there is NOBODY collecting social security who are over 125 years old. That was debunked over and over again. Google it. DOGE ended up being a disaster for the United States and for Elon Musk. May it rest in pieces and let’s give it a high five salute.
