Marjorie Taylor Greene will join Senator John Fetterman.

Every year, the Tribune hosts an event in Austin called TribFest. It’s an excellent couple of days packed with speakers from all across the political spectrum. I’ve been twice already, and I’ll definitely be attending again this year.
But much like the Texas Democratic Party Convention, it seems like they had a tough time finding decent keynote speakers to open and close the event. To open, former MAGAt Marjorie Taylor Greene will be speaking about the future of her movement—which might just mean her bowel movement, since she is still full of shit. On the other end, closing out the event, is Bernie Sanders’ hand-picked Senator, John Fetterman, AKA the Douche of the Senate. Lucky us.
Both of these speakers have zero chance of ever getting elected again. Greene is desperately trying to stay relevant, hoping that the “real” conservatives of the Republican Party will peel away from the MAGAt Party to join her movement. Fetterman is just buying time. As a Bernie Sanders recruit, he simply doesn’t have a future in politics once his term is up. The Democrats in Pennsylvania are already looking for his replacement and have told Bernie Sanders where to stick it.
I’ll probably go see Greene but not Fetterman.
