Fact Checking a CCISD Trustee on Election Fraud. Again.

April 29, 2025

It’s Scott Bowen. Again.

During the last CCISD Candidate Forum sponsored by the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce candidates were asked a very simple question: (video here starting at 02:04) “if you lose a close race, would you contest the results?”. Rebecca Lilley was clear with her answer: “Absolutely not. Whatever happens, happens, and I believe that that will be the final result.”

Scott Bowen echoed the Republic Party canned answer: “On contesting results, this time around Harris County and Galveston County are running our elections. I’m glad they are. At the same time, a few years ago, there was a Harris County result that actually was overturned due to problems with that election. I’m hoping that doesn’t happen again, and I don’t think it will, but I think you never say never. So we just hope for a clean and fair election.”

Fact Check:
After losing in the 2022 elections, Scott Bowen’s party sued 22 winning candidates claiming voter irregularities spearheaded by Mattress MAGAt Mac. They did not sue Harris County who actually conducted the election. They sued the actual candidates requiring them to raise money in their defense. After investigations by the courts as well as the Secretary of State, every single suit was dismissed.

The Secretary of State Investigation
According to the Secretary of State, Jane Nelson, a Republican: “The allegations of election fraud in the 2022 Harris County election are total bullshit.” That’s not her exact words buy you get the idea. You can read the entire 147 page report if you want but in short there was no fraud. There was no voter irregularities that would have changed any election. Nothing. Zero. Zip. Nada. They couldn’t even find one single voter who was denied voting. Not one.

Texas Rangers Investigation
Even the Harris county District Attorney, Kim Ogg, had to admit no charges were being filed after an extensive investigation by the Texas Rangers. She had an embarrassing press conference claiming they filed a misdemeanor charge for an unrelated crime. It was eventually dismissed also. Some believed she should have been investigated herself for a baseless investigation.

CCISD Election 2022
This isn’t the first time Bowen’s party has done this. In fact the first time they used this tactic was in CCISD in 2022. Misty Dawson, a Bowen recruit, sued her opponent claiming voter irregularities after losing by 40 votes. She did’t sue the District who ran the election. She sued the winning candidate who had absolutely nothing to do with running the election. Bowen’s buddy caused a considerable amount of chaos concerning CCISD paying for the legal fees of the winning candidate. Even Bowen voted in favor of supporting this. Dawson eventually dropped her suit.

So expect Scott Bowen to whine like a little bitch if he loses.

Responses to: The Sh*t Show in Seabrook

April 29, 2025

Well, that was a surprise. Kind of. It appears that those in Seabrook who call for “transparency” actually dislike it. The “beehive,” as some have dubbed it, of Jackie Rasco’s supporters took issue with my mention of a police incident at Rasco’s residence. You can find the post here and the actual police report here. That post became the second most viewed in my blog’s history, with the first being after actor Mark Ruffalo retweeted my post “Texas by the numbers. (it ain’t pretty)” (We truly aren’t doing well!)

I had compared the Seabrook race to the recent shit show in League City which ended poorly for a council member who instigated the chaos in the city. Below are just a few of the responses received on the post even one banning me from posting! EGADS! I am RUINED! Early voting ends today. Good luck Seabrook. You just might become the center of discussion for the next couple of years.

The Sh*t Show in Seabrook Texas

April 27, 2025

Move over League City, Seabrook is taking over.

Earlier this year, the League City Council called for the resignation of Justin Hicks, its most controversial member. He resigned after being accused of misusing his position for personal gain and several incidents involving the police. The Council is now holding a special election to fill his seat, hoping to reduce media attention and blogger scrutiny.

There is an election in Seabrook also. Jackie Rasco is running for Mayor in Seabrook and like Justin Hicks and Scott Bowen may become the chaos of Seabrook. I’ve shared a video of Jackie at the CCISD board meeting and you can read her comments below. Jackie is friends with CCISD Trustee Scott Bowen, who has brought his political chaos into the school district. If elected, I expect Rasco will continue this trend of Scott Bowen and Justin Hicks, and the media will shift their attention to Seabrook.

Police Intervention
So a few years ago there was an incident that required police intervention at Jackies home involving a nosy neighbor, an intoxicated expunged, a gun, $3000 worth of damage, and an arrest. You can read the entire police report here. This didn’t end well at first. In the end Jackies husband was placed in custody as was the intoxicated expunged. (expunged is how the report identifies an individual) From the police report (not my words, theirs):

Jackie’s Husband
William was identified to be responsible for the damages for the door and was placed in custody for Criminal Mischief. Harris County ADA Foley was contacted and he accepted the Felony Criminal Mischief charge. ADA Foley stated he was unable to accept an Aggravated Assault charge due to the firearm being unidentifiable.

The “expunged”:
Expunged was determined to be under the influence of alcohol due to the odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath and person. Expunged was witnessed by neighbors at the residence of 4005 Lakeway Drive stating threatening comments toward neighbors. It was determined Expunged was a danger to herself and the public and was placed in custody

And Jackie
Officers attempted to get possession of the firearms involved but were unable to find one matching the exact description provided by Elliott. Jacyln stated her husband owns many firearms but was unable to provide officers with one matching the description. Officers explained to Jacyln that the ADA was suggesting a search warrant to enter the residence to retrieve the firearm used in the disturbance. Jacyln was hesitant in her response to retrieve the gun involved, until Cynthia strongly suggested to Jacyln to give officers “THE gun.” Officers found this to be suspicious of which firearm Cynthia was referring too. Jacyln went into the master bedroom to retrieve the pistol that was originally outside at the time of the offense.

If you bother to read the entire police report instead of just the snippets above you will find the most disturbing part here:

The neighbors
While officers were conducting an investigation, another officer was flagged down by a neighbor and his child riding bikes stating they witnessed William making a scene in the front yard of 4005 Lakeway Drive. The neighbors also stated they overheard expunged stating “Those niggers are going to die tonight.”

Early voting has started and the election is May 3rd. Good luck Seabrook.

Kemah Police enjoying their Trump Burgers

April 24, 2025

Kemah Police Department had proudly posted pic of some of their officers enjoying their time at the newly opened Trump Burger. Then they deleted them for reasons unknown. Luckily I found them. Including one of the Chief of Police Garvey. I am sure they enjoyed the Stormy Burger with nice firm buns and vey small meat.

CCISD Candidate Calls for Instant Replay

April 24, 2025

Turns out they overruled a previous post.

Joe Machol is a former NFL referee until he was removed from officiating after some kind of ethics violations. He sued buy never returned to officiating. If interested you can read about it here.

But back to the instant replay. On further review Machol has not violated campaign finance laws for not submitting a campaign finance report. When he filed his Appointment of Treasurer (late) he stated he would not be raising or spending more than $1110 and therefore does not need to file a periodic report. That is news to me but that is why Machol has not reported.

Besides being an absolute horrible candidate for School Board, even worse than Misty Dawson, he is running a very strange campaign. His signs are generic “vote for Joe” signs with no mention of the office he is running for and the “Paid for by” statement that is required on all advertisements. He has placed some signs with handwritten notices. There’s no push cards, mailers, flyers, Facebook ads. Nothing. It is strange.

And his viral video of him losing it at a Seabrook meeting didn’t help him. Or skipping a forum. Or submitting a blank Bio.

But there is still time for a political PAC to send out mailers in support of Bowen and Machol. Machol can then plead ignorance. Watch for it.

CCISD Trustee gets fact checked

April 22, 2025

It’s sad that Scott Bowen has resorted to falsely attacking his opponent breaking his pledge to the district not to do so. Rebecca’s campaign had to hit back and it is a great ad. Watch till the end with a clip of Bowen bragging about his support for school vouchers.

I have been very clear about Scott Bowen as a CCISD Trustee. You can read about all the reasons he should be replaced with someone who is not interested in partisan politics in our schools in Scott Bowen: A Threat to CCISD Education

Early voting starts today.

Caught on Video: CCISD Trustee Candidate

April 21, 2025

The internet is forever.

Smokin Joe Frazier

Smokin Joe Machol has served on the Seabrook City Council for a number of years. He was recruited by Trustee Bowen to run against Trustee Cejka for reasons unknown. Machol has little if any applicable experience for the position especially when running against a sitting Trustee who has served honorably. He has defined himself at a recent forum as the person you may not want on a school board. He skipped one of only two forums open to the public opting to attend a council meeting for a seat he will have for only the next month or so.

The following video from a town hall meeting might add another reason why Smokin Joe Machol should not be put on the school board. Imagine having someone on the board acting like this in front of students and parents. His comments start at 2:18:16.

Early Voting begins today.

CCISD Trustee Breaks Campaign Promise and Campaign Laws

April 21, 2025

Well that didn’t take long. So much for civility.

CCISD Trustee Scott Bowen is taking heat for his latest unethical stunt. His mailer claims his opponent “Promised” a $300 million bond. She didn’t. Not once. There were three forums where bonds were discussed and she never promised a bond, for very good reasons. A board member cannot promise a bond. Only voters can approve a bond. A board member can vote to put a bond on the ballot just like Scott Bowen did in 2023 but they can’t promise squat. Scott knows this but sent out his lying mailer anyway. Scott’s opponent, Rebecca Lilley quickly responded with the following video. It’s good.

Breaks Campaign Pledge
Every candidate for CCISD Trustee, including Bowen, signed a Code of Fair Campaign Practices pledging not to be a dick when campaigning. Here is what Bowen agreed to. His form can be found here.

Violation of Texas Ethics Laws
Bowen’s mailer is paid for by Scott Bowen for CCISD Trustee. I could not find the campaign finance reports for this PAC. According to his recent campaign finance report he has spent over $18,000 on his campaign, most coming from his own pocket. Who is funding “Scott Bowen for CCISD Trustee”? Who funded this mailer?

Early voting starts today.

The Elon Musk of Texas enters the race for Texas Attorney General

April 18, 2025

UPDATE: Middleton has pledged $25 Million of his own money for this race. Since entering politics he has raised $6,930,462 of which $5,737,392 is his own money.

In Texas money talks. Ask our Senator Money Mayes Middleton.

Senator Money Mayes Middleton has entered the race for Texas Attorney General and he has $10 Million of his own money to back his campaign. This isn’t the first time he has used his vast wealth to buy a seat of power. He is filthy rich and will use that filth to buy yet another seat of power.

Ask former Representative Wayne Faircloth of Galveston County. Faircloth served only one term then was challenged by Middleton in the primary. Middleton spent $1.7 Million of his own money to win that primary. He spent another $800,000 of his own money in the general election. In a competitive race a candidate would have needed about $500,000. His challenger in the general election raised only $4,000.

After accomplishing nothing in the House, he ran for the Senate again spending nearly $2 million of his own money and winning that seat. Again he hasn’t accomplished much except to spread the word of our Lord Jesus Christ. He ignored pocket book issues such as the rising cost of home insurance, the electricity grid, and inflation. But at least he has filed bills to give easy access to guns to mentally ill people, allow students to pray in school, posting of “In God We Trust” and the Ten Commandments in classrooms. Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.

Middleton has pledged $25 Million of his own money to win the Attorney General seat. He has the deep pockets and will overwhelm any real conservative. Republican primary voters will fall in line.
