La Marque Councilman Police Reports on Pigs

There are multiple reports. This one is looney.

An open records request for the copies of police reports filed by La Marque City Councilman Joseph Lowry resulted in a 122 page document. You can review all the reports filed for the last two years by Lowry here. Some of these reports are petty, funny, and disturbing. For instance report #23-00128 filed on 1/21/23. Lowry called in a terroristic threat. Somehow that was classified as an “Attempted Suicide”. Officer A.Skaggs with the La Marque Police Department handled the incident which was eventually closed. You can read the report below.

According to the report Lowry had received a letter with a picture of pigs eating and the caption “Lowery’s Family”. It was mailed from the Houston area from “The citizens of La Marque”. Obviously someone was comparing Lowry and his wife to pigs, which is an insult to pigs, a crime in itself. But clearly it was nothing more than an insult. Lowry called the police because he believed it was a threat because people feed pigs dead people. (I’m not making this up) Lowry demanded that the letter be put into evidence and processed for finger prints. Lowry also requested DNA to be collected and processed as well as a forensic audit of the Post Office because they are all criminals. (ok. That last sentence I made up)

The police stated he was hog tied and unable to spend significant time on his case but will continue the investigation when pigs fly. He suggested that Lowry should not go pig wild in his attempt to make a pigs ear out of something. He also stated there are a number of other police reports and he could piggy back on one of those. Lowry continued to squeal like a stuck pig and was last seen at the all you can eat salad bar.

OK. That last paragraph was also made up. Read the 122 page document here. There are a number of disturbing reports that should be read.
