Heard at The Texas Tribune TribFest by a Republican lawmaker “I’m voting for the racist in the race for Texas Railroad Commissioner”.
Jeff Leach is a Republican member of the Texas House representing District 67 in Collin County including Plano and nearby communities. Leach was on a panel of three white guys appropriately representing their party to discuss their Party’s agenda.
The conversation turn to the comments made by Bo French. French is the republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commission and has made numerous racist comments which have been condemned by just a few Republicans. Leach spent a number of minutes condemning French’s multiple racist comments, then surprisingly added that he will vote for him.
This is the agenda of the Republican Party. From a party that used to run on family values, fiscal responsibility, and law and order to a party that protects pedophiles, runs up a $40 debt, supports January 6 rioters and now voting for racist.
And you wonder what the (R) stand for behind Leach’s name?
