He knew exactly what he was doing.

Brazoria County Judge Matt Sebesta must think the residents are stupid. (He might be right) Sebesta didn’t just blurt out the phrase “Short Bus” when describing the residents who did not support his tax abatement for a large corporation. He did it multiple times as the Houston Chronicle stated:

• “It’s kind of like the kid on the short bus that likes to eat boogers talks everybody else into eating boogers,”
• “And so they all copy the booger-eating champion on the short bus and send all these emails, but they were all just completely way out of left field so they actually carry no weight with me.”
• “They see what some (expletive) has posted out on social media, and they go out and feed off that run with it. And instead of using the common sense, and I hope, the good Lord gave them to maybe ask a few questions instead of just proving that they don’t have the intellectual capacity to understand things.”

He later apologized with “I am deeply sorry for using the term “Short bus”. I should have said retarded.” OK. That wasn’t exactly what he said but let’s be hones. What kind of idiot in this day and age would use that term? He might think it is funny but ask those who have children with a learning disability if it is funny to them. But this is what happens when he tolerates this type of filth coming from the top of his party. When Trump mocked a disabled person Sebesta sat back and probably laughed.

It’s not funny when the Judge did it. It wasn’t funny when his political lord and savior did it either.
