If Babin could be embarrassed he would be, but he isn’t.
A couple of folks went to Babin’s office to ask why he will vote NO on releasing the Epstein files. The staffer finally gave the canned response that they provide to everyone who calls, on any subject, “I haven’t talked to the Congressman about that issue but I will bring it up to his attention”. (Or something like that) Click on the video and watch.
But what the video shows is the staffer’s computer screen with a pic of Trump when he mocked a disabled individual. You can watch the video here. You have to be one giant asshole to mock someone with a disability. You have to be a bigger asshole to support that person. And Babin’s staff member, Sam, is an asshole.
The former CCISD Trustee who was ousted in 2024 by a conservative republican has brought out his nails in the race for House District 129 GOP primary. Not quite sure why the nails have to be sharpened or used. Scott is the darling of the Republican Party. He has lots of endorsements by the extremists of the Party including Little Baby Briscoe Cain and Money Mayes Middleton. Even Greg Abbott has endorsed him, although his endorsement didn’t help Bowen’s recruited candidates in CFISD. They got wiped out. I’m just waiting for Bowen to accept the endorsement from a suspected pedophile.
But regardless, Bowen is attacking his opponent, Bob Mitchell. Bob is one of those old fashion Republican who believes in acting honorably, making relationships to make accomplishments, and not being an awkward jerk off like Scott. According to Scott, Bob has a home in Comal County and is taking a homestead exemption. Maybe Scott thinks that would disqualify him from running but lawsuits by the Harris County Attorney against Dave Wilson failed for the very same situation. You can read about Wilson here.
But if by chance Bowen gets his ass beaten in the primary he will be the first one at the courthouse to file suit and whine about it. We will see. BTW Mitchell is head and shoulders better than Scott. Besides Bowen’s support of school vouchers, ending CRT which was never taught in CCISD schools, and rallying against diversity, equality, and inclusion, Bowen hasn’t accomplished much and probably wouldn’t accomplish much as a State Representative. He doesn’t get along with others. If elected he will take a knee and do whatever Abbott tells him to do.
After holding office for 12 years, and sucking on the tit of the government for his entire working life, Greg Abbott doesn’t have a lot to run on. The abortion issue is over. Immigration raids are a disaster. Health and property insurance are out the roof. Our electricity grid is still fragile and only getting worse. Groceries continue to cost more and more. Housing costs also through the roof. So Abbott needs something besides the rising cost of living in Texas to run on.
Abbott has filed for re-election running on abolishing taxes but guess who is going to pay for it? Homebuilders? Insurance companies? Chemical companies? Corporations? His donor base? Not a chance. Abbott’s tax stunt is going to put the burden on the middle class and the poor and for good reason. They don’t vote. They aren’t paying attention since they are working to afford living in Texas. This tax stunt is going to starve our public schools, again, driving more money into private schools, forcing more cuts and causing more failures. Schools are not free. Running the government is not free. Roads are not free. Someone has to pay for them and guess who the fuck will?
Abbott claims to have created this so called “Texas miracle” bringing in large companies into Texas, driving up the cost of housing, increasing traffic congestion, straining our electric grid, and now stressing our water supply. This is great for business but someone is paying for it. We are and I bet, if elected, Scott Bowen will take a knee, and kiss Abbott’s ass and support him.
Lucky for Abbott, most Texans don’t vote and most that do are the biggest idiots on the planet. Don’t fall for it. As they said in Star Wars “It’s a trap!”.
La Marque City Councilman Joseph Lowry (again) wants special treatment from the interim City Manager. It’s about as petty as some of the articles I write about elected officials in the Bay Area. In order to save money and city resources the City made the decision to distribute the agenda for the upcoming city council meeting electronically. Prior to this the agenda was printed and hand delivered to council members. Using email or posting the agenda online is what everyone does in this day and age of 2025. The agenda is also public record posted on the La Marque website.
But according to Lowry “I dunt no how to use an ee-lectric cumpooter”, which he didn’t actually say but implied it in his pathetic video he posted to Facebook. He claims he is not a “science computer” but he does have enough skills to post AI generated articles on his Lousy News Network. He has enough skills to create a Facebook page, post on a daily basis, create and post harassing videos, and bitch and moan about rampant corruption which doesn’t exist.
But he doesn’t have enough science computer skills to click on a link and print an agenda like everyone else including the public. It isn’t hard to do. Read your email. Click on the attachment. Apple-P to print. Maybe Lowry can’t afford paper to print the 2 page agendas. Or maybe he doesn’t have enough money for a printer or to pay the $43,000 in back taxes. Or maybe he is dumber than a sock full of rocks.
So watch as he wastes more money and drags the City into court like he did back in 2024 and lost miserably. Lazy bastard.

With the swearing in of Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva of Arizona there are now enough votes for a discharge petition to release the entire Epstein files concerning sex trafficking of children. What is a discharge petition?
A discharge petition is a legislative maneuver in the U.S. House of Representatives that allows a majority of members to force a bill out of committee and onto the House floor for a vote, bypassing the committee and party leadership. To be successful, it requires the signatures of 218 members (an absolute majority) to bring the measure directly to the floor.
As expected, local Congressman Brian Babin and Randy Weber did not sign the discharge petition and will not vote in favor of releasing the files. Yesterday Trump and members of the cabinet talked with Congresswoman Lauren “reach around” Boebert trying to persuade her to change her vote on the petition. It failed. The petition must pass the House then the Senate and Trump will have to sign it. Of course Trump will veto it.
So who in the House and Senate will be the Guardians Of Pedophiles, those who are accused of sex trafficking children? Greg Abbott picked a hell of a day to brag about an endorsement from a suspected pedophile, Donald Trump. Just days after our State Representative Dennis Paul bragged about accepting an endorsement from a convicted felon Abbott does one better. The very next day thousands of emails implicating Trump in a sex trafficking ring were released and now everyone has forgotten the failing economy, outrageous health care increases, and home insurance going out the roof.
I can remember when being endorsed by anyone accused of sexual misconduct would result in resignations and press conferences condemning the endorsement. Candidates would run to the. microphone. Instead Abbott and other Republicans embraces the endorsement of a suspected child rapist. Jesus Christ, what the hell has happened to the Republican Party?
With his acceptance of an endorsement from a suspected child rapist, Abbott is not only physically crippled, he is now morally crippled.
Our local State Representative Dennis Paul is running to be our next State Senator after spending 10 years in the Texas House accomplishing little if anything. He was on the Insurance Committee for years as our property insurance has skyrocketed. He did nothing while our electricity grid turned into shambles then voted to pass on the cost to repair to the consumers. Our electricity bills have become shocking. (lol) Home prices are out the roof making it hard for first time buyers to purchase. The cost to live and remain in the Bay Area has soared. So it is fitting for Paul to accept this endorsement from a convicted felon and suspected pedophile.
And he seems to be proud of it. I wish a real Conservative would challenge Paul in the primary. He is fiscally and morally bankrupt.
Abbott is going to run for President and why not. He is a perfect candidate. He is Kruel. He is Korrupt. He is Khaotic. (KKK) Just like his buddy, Trump. He not only physically krippled, he is mentally krippled. He thrives on khaos and kruelty to those who are not like him, white, privileged, khristian. His kruelty knows no boundaries when addressing the immigration problem. He watches as children drown in the river or become entangled in barbed wire. He separates children from their parents. He sits by while the federal government encroaches on states rights raiding day cares and schools to catch a mother trying to make a better life for her kids. Yet he turns a blind eye to his donors, home builders, restaurant owners, beer distributors who hire illegal immigrants.
Abbott is another Trump only worse. Trump is a political idiot. Abbott is a kruel polished politician. He is exactly the opposite of what we teach our children to be. He is a career politician never holding a job outside of the government. Besides recieving a $500,000/year from his lawsuit against everyone remotely responsible for him running under a tree being cut down, he is receiving healthcare for life and a pension 4 times that of any teacher. While everyone else suffers he and his wife live lavishly.
His rally in Houston is a few days after his endorsed candidates got wiped off of the Cy Fair ISD. Maybe people are beginning to realize that Abbott does not line up with their fiscal or moral values.
Yet another ass whipping for former CCISD Trustee Scott Bowen this time in Cy Fair ISD. Last night CY Fair parents rejected the chaos in their school district defeating the extremists recruited by Scott and endorsed by Governor Greg Abbott and the Harris County Republican Party.
Last week Abbott held a get out the vote rally for the extremist candidates Blasingame, Walker, and Edwards. All three lost. Later in the day he had a small gathering in Kemah along with Scott giving another awkward and boring speech about CRT, DEI, and other losing topics. Abbott was greeted by a group of loud protesters. Scott was responsible for candidate recruitment throughout Harris County which didn’t go well in CCISD or CFISD. Scott is now running for State Representative in the Clear Lake area after voters threw him off CCISD.
Congratulations to the parents of CFISD for rejecting Scott’s chaos and restoring civility and common sense to the school board. Hopefully it will be as boring as CCISD has become, which is a good thing. Parents want our boards to do the job, what’s best for parents, students, teachers, and taxpayers not political parties. Because of Bowen’s party that job has become extremely difficult. Once again congratulations!
You have to wonder what caused the outrageous number of Open Record Requests in 2025.
It’s Lowry. Again. Council Member Joseph Lowry was elected in May of 2024 and all hell has broken loose including using and abusing the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) or Public Information Requests (PIRs). In 2024 150 PIRs were opened. In 2025 465 were opened.
According to records provided by La Marque 150 open records requests were filed in 2024. 61 of them were filed in the last qtr. 105 were closed as “fulfilled”. 36 resulted in “no records” available. The other 9 requests were listed as “not a request” or others.
In 2025 465 PIRs were opened. 229 were closed as “fulfilled”. 141 were closed as “No records”. 25 were closed as “Not a request” or “Request Withdrawn”. 5 were closed as “Denied. Investigative Records”.
Lowry opened 24. His wife opened 11. Lousy News Network opened 2. Many were opened concerning Lowry including requesting Lowry’s proof of bribes, the details of his terrorist threat report to the La Marque Police Department, and information about his $50,000 COVID grant.
