BREAKING: EMS Called to the White House

August 27, 2025

Multiple members of the President’s Cabinet were involved.

Multiple units of the Washington DC fire department were called for an incident involving the President and his Cabinet. According to the report: “The Fire Department Station 42 was called late Tuesday night to assist the Cabinet Members. Our first responders, who are trained in the use CPR, were able to revive many of the individuals but some required hospitalization.

According to the first responders the incident began during the President’s Cabinet meeting lasting over 3 hours. “When we arrived we immediately called for extra support. The scene was horrible with many gasping for air and pleading for help.”

“Our brave first responders took decisive action, provided CPR and mouth to mouth resusitation and tried to pry each and every one of them off of Donald Trump’s ass, but they were stuck. I’ve never seen so many people on their knees sucking someone’s ass so hard that they got stuck. We continue to struggle with the situation. The fact that Trump continued to walk around with so many of the Cabinet Members stuck to his ass didn’t help.”

You can watch the entire ass kissing session below. It might make you vomit and laugh at the same time.

La Marque Gag Order Hearing Scheduled for August 28 for Joseph Lowry

August 25, 2025

Thursday August 28, 11:30am. Be there. It will be wild.

There is a gag order hearing this Thursday concerning the civil suit against La Marque City Councilman Joseph Lowry by a number of individuals including CM Kimberley Yancy, former CM James Ross, CJ Beard, and Walter Burt. When this suit was filed a request for a Temporary Restraining Order against Lowry to prevent him from posting damaging allegations pertaining to the plaintiffs. This was eventually denied, but tomorrow there is a hearing concerning a proposed gag order. This is an in person hearing so I can only assume Lowry’s fat ass will be there.

You can read the proposed gag order here and the motion for the gag order here. The motion is full of examples of why there should be a gag order against Lowry.

In Defense of Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo

August 25, 2025

Do better ABC13.

ABC13 of Houston ran a bullshit “investigative” story titled “Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo spent about $43K on Paris trade mission, per campaign report“. For those who read only the title of a story to form an ignorant opinion let me give you a heads up. It’s a bullshit title, but an accurate article, if and only if you take the time to read. Here is a snippet:

Judge Hidalgo used donations to her political campaign to fund the trip. “The rules are very flexible on how the office holders can use their funds, just so long as they’re publicly disclosed,” said Jonathan Neerman, a campaign finance advisor who previously served as the Chairman of the Dallas County Republican.

Yep even a Republican says the title of the investigation is bullshit. Candidates and elected officials can use their campaign cash for official business. Many do it then submit receipts to the State, County, or City for reimbursement. And at least one, former State Representative Joe Driver, a Republican, has been caught cheating.

Driver spent his donors money on lavish hotels for official business. He then applied for reimbursement from the State but instead of returning the $50,000 to his campaign account, he kept it. He eventually plead guilty, received 3 years probation, but kept his $62,000/year pension and his state sponsored healthcare for himself and his wife.

Now that is an investigative story! Go read or watch the entire ABC13 story. There is nothing illegal or unusual about what Judge Hidalgo did.

Catholic Church Condemns the 10 Commandments Law

August 24, 2025

Praise the Lord!

According to Catholic Family Digest the Catholic Church has condemned the law requiring posting of the 10 Commandments in public schools in Texas. According to the Archbishop of Texas, the Reverend Jose Jimenez, “The 10 commandments are the cornerstone of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church created Christianity. We created the 10 Commandments. If Texas wants to post the 10 Commandments then it must be the Catholic version.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently signed into law a requiring all public school to post the 10 commandments if someone donates the sign and/or posters. Like in Louisiana, the law has been struck down as unconstitutional by a federal judge and is expected to be decided by the United States Supreme Court. Abbott was clear about his support of displaying the 10 Commandments in schools. “Just think if that shooter in Uvalde had the opportunity to read a poster stating Thou Shall Not Kill, maybe we would have had a different outcome.”

The Reverend’s reaction was also very clear. “If you want the 10 Commandments posted it must be the Catholic version. All other spin offs of christianity are just bastard religions. The Catholic Church is the only true Christian religion that follows the word of Jesus Christ our Savior. If Abbott thinks otherwise he can roll up and kiss by Catholic ass.”

God Bless Texas and welcome to Satire Sunday.

Harris County Constables’ 65% Pay Increase is Excessive

August 22, 2025

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand this is excessive.

Harris County Constables are asking for a pay raise from $178,000/year to $293,000, a 65% increase. It is almost double their salary from 2004. This is excessive for a number of reasons.

  • There are 8 Constables each responsible for only 1/8 of the County
  • The Sheriff who is responsible for the entire County earns $223,000
  • The Constable is an administrator job. Even though they carry a gun, law enforcement is not in their job description. They don’t patrol. They don’t confront bad guys. They sit at a desk.
  • The County is trying to balance their budget which has a $200 Million shortfall
  • No one except for CEOs of insurance companies, gets a 65% increase in pay. Not you. Not me.

Every Constable including our own Phil Sandlin requested the raise. If you don’t know who Phil Sandlin is you are in good company. For $178,000 a year citizens in the community should at least know who you are and what you look like. County Commissioners agreed to the increase by a vote of 3-2. I’m not in favor of this. I think it is excessive and not deserving especially when we are running a deficit. The Houston Chronicle has details.

“The eight constables should take what the sheriff makes and divide it by eight,” said Murray Newman, a criminal defense attorney who’s voiced concerns surrounding the constables previously. “That’s what they deserve to be making. They are supplemental law enforcement, not the marquee players.”

Galveston County’s $43,000 Lawsuit Against Joseph Lowry: An Update

August 22, 2025

Galveston County had dropped their lawsuit against La Marque City Council Member Joseph Lowry. Sort of.

According to documents posted on the County’s website the suit against Joseph Lowry for over $43,000 in back taxes has been “non-suited” without prejudice meaning it has been dropped but could be refiled. (I secretly obtained a law degree from Facebook U to enhance my Undercover Investigative Reporter degree, also from FU) According to Channel 13 Eyewitness News:

Six Brother Concrete Pumping, owned by Joseph Lowry, was sued in early April by Galveston County, Galveston County Drainage District #2, Texas City Independent School District, and College of the Mainland. They say they’re owed $43,868.48 in back taxes from 2022 and 2023.

The suit #24-TX-0303 filed in the 10th Judicial District of Galveston County has now been listed as “Inactive” but I think it might have been dropped in order to add more delinquent taxes to the amount owe. According to the Galveston County Tax Office he is delinquent on his 2024 taxes for $10,033.65 which includes over $1308 in penalties. So maybe the suit will be refiled to include this delinquency for a grand total of 53,902.13. Or maybe he really doesn’t owe any taxes as he claims.

According to the Editor of the Galveston Daily News, Lowry has the money to pay the taxes and he should. You can browse the documents at the County Tax Office Account Number:  737826 and the County Court Records Case #24-TX-0303.

La Marque Clerk Invalidates Recall Petition of Joseph Lowry

August 22, 2025

There are at least 20 (not 10) good reasons to recall La Marque City Council Member Joseph Lowry. You can read them here.

Unfortunately due to a clerical error that recall will not happen. In their first attempt at a recall petitioners fell short by just 7 signatures to put the recall on the ballot. Immediately afterward they refiled and provided over 200 signatures to the city clerk. Yesterday the county dismissed the petition because the forms used for signatures did not contained required information.

The forms used for signatures was provided by the City of La Marque. The Galveston County Daily News has a detailed article, if you have access to it. The petitioners have now asked the City to investigate how this was allowed to happen without any consequences to the City Clerk. According to the complaint:

I’d like to file an official complaint against the city clerk. I have filed for recall for Joseph Lowry and collected signatures twice. The first one came up a few short, okay, I’ll do it again because it matters to me. I turned in 218 signatures for recall on Friday. The petition forms provided by the city clerk did not meet state requirements to be a valid petition. They are missing columns. None contained the VUID or date signed column. 4/12 did not contain the required Date of Birth column. None of the first round of petitions contained the date of birth column either.

Collecting signatures for a recall is a lot of work. It requires a lot of walking in the hot sun and time from your family especially if you are not using a paid service like they did in Texas City. It is tough work. For a city clerk to make a mistake like providing the wrong forms is unprofessional and could be illegal especially since the Texas Attorney General has a stick up his butt about election integrity.

The petitioners have a point:

This is incompetence, a disregard for professionalism, an unacceptable attitude, and one more example of employees lacking accountability.

Vacation Review: The Pacific Northwest

August 21, 2025
Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. Great view of Mount Ranier.

Visiting other states makes me wonder what the hell I am doing here.

We visited a number of national parks in the area, Cascades, Olympic, Mount Ranier, and Crater Lake. We also visited the cities of Seattle and Portland. Pictures are below. Here are some interesting notes.

VRBO Ghost.
OMG. We had 3 couples, 4 bedrooms VRBO house. Every single one of us experienced a double KNOCK KNOCK on our bedroom door and nobody was there. On the last day I was in the kitchen and my door slammed hard enough for people to come out of their rooms wondering who the hell slammed the door! That was very strange!!! When the knock happened to me I said “Come in!” then immediately realized what was happening. There was no one there. Yeow!

Seattle Underground Tour
We went on this tour 30 years ago and it is still great! Interesting history of Seattle. If you are in the area take 90 minutes to learn about Seattle and why there is an underground. It is a very interesting tour and very affordable.

Seattle Needle
Of course we made the trip up the Needle. It was a clear day and we had some beautiful views! We were told the chowder at Ivar’s was the absolute best in the world. They were right! A bit expensive but the chowder was really good!

Whale Watching
We booked a whale watching tour and saw a couple of Orcas. The boat ride was just beautiful. Sunny day. Cool. Just perfect. We took a ferry to Bainbridge. That was interesting because there were two military ships being paraded through the area by tugboats spouting water. The sailors were all lined up on the ships.

Portland
My main reason to go to Portland was to visit my good friends son who manages a comedy show venue. My friend and I have known each other for over 50 years. We surprised the hell out of him and watched a real good comedy show. The venue hosts some top entertainers including James Austin Johnson who plays trump on SNL. If in Portland go see a show and ask for James! Portland Helium Comedy Club.

Status of the Parks
The only thing I can say I noticed was the maintenance of the bathrooms. Many were not working. Many were not clean to the point people walked into the woods instead of using the facilities. Other than that I didn’t see any impact to the cuts in funding.

And here are some of my best pics:

Report: Texas Insurance Commissioner  Addresses Clear Lake

August 21, 2025

NOTE: I have arranged a meeting with the TDI staff to address the rising cost of insurance in our area. I will update later.

Her Speech
To say the speech by the Texas Insurance Commissioner Cassie Brown’s was disappointing would be a gross understatement.

After telling the business community how wonderful the TDI is protecting the consumer from the rising cost of insurance and explaining why rates are so high, she left the stage, took no questions, and quickly left the building. Many in the crowd were not  happy especially those at my table.

I was able to speak with her briefly as well as two other attendees. A realtor told her about the impact to realtors in the area and her personal 40% increase, she basically asked her Why? Brown’s response was simply “I just told you why in my speech”. My question to her was about the price gouging by roofers after a hail storm or hurricane. Her response was short “We have no control over that.”. She then ignored my plea for the TDI to at least address the issue.

Reasons for high premiums.
Iv’e heard the same excuses from the insurance industry. Inflation, rise in home values, and “severity and frequency of storms” (climate change). I have said it before. The entire industry, the lobbyists, and many elected officials will NEVER say “Climate change” it is always “severity and frequency of storms”. She used the exact phrase of the industry.

Actions being taken to reduce the risk
She did not address anything the TDI was doing to reduce damage to homes such as better requirements on roofing materials, stopping price gouging, or anything positive.

My opinion
I do not believe the Commissioner is concerned about our situation. She seems to be representing the industry and the industry only. She showed no interest in our situation, no empathy, no concern. She never addressed the extreme rate increase we were experiencing. It was as if she really didn’t care. Disappointing to say the least especially when talking to the business community.

TDI Commissioner Coming to Clear Lake

August 20, 2025

Texas Insurance Commissioner to Address Clear Lake Businesses

Commissioner Cassie Brown

The Commissioner of the Texas Department of Insurance, Cassie Brown, will be addressing the business community at a meeting sponsored by the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership. I will be attending and will report. I am very interested in this meeting and appreciate BAHEP’s effort. Needless to say homeowners are not the only people affected by the rising cost of insurance. Business owners, realtors, home buyers and sellers, and our school districts are all affected.

I asked her staff if she could squeeze in a visit with people in the community but she is unavailable. I am trying to set up a meeting with her staff in Austin.
