Teneshia Hudspeth the Chief Deputy Harris County Clerk has announced she is seeking the Democratic nomination for Harris County Clerk. I was hoping she was interested in running for this position. Diane Trautman had this to say:
The job oc county clerk is a huge responsibility and the person who assumes this office in November must be read to hit the ground running. Teneshia is that person and she will be ready to assume the duties on day one. There is no doubt that Teneshia has what it takes to run this office efficiently.
Well said. Precinct chairs will be voting for the nominee to be on the ballot in November.
