January 19, 2021Trump's legacy by the numbers
January 19, 2021Well after 4 years trump has sealed his legacy with yet another failure right up there with Trump University, Trump Steaks, Trump Wine, Trump Casino, and Trump Airlines, to name just a few. Now add Trump America to that list. Here is a list of Trumps accomplishments by the numbers:
- $1 Trillion deficit (pre-COVID)
- $3 Trillion added to the debt (pre-Covid)
- 4.7 Million jobs lost
- 18 number of Trump associates who are in jail, waiting sentencing, or waiting trial
- 308 the number of times trump played golf
- 400,000+ number of Americans who died from COVID under his watch
- 34% Approval rating
- 160 number of individuals who left the Office of the President
- 5 Press secretaries
- 20 members of the Trump Administration with COVID
- $315 Million trump’s personal debt
- 5500 number of immigrant children separated from their parents
I know this is a short list but it’s hard to track all of his failures. I might add more as time goes on. Until then…..may trump and his entire family rot in hell.
Texas Representative "Money" Mayes Middleton files bill to restrict voting….on MLK day
January 18, 2021Texas Representative “Money” Mayes Middleton of Galveston spent over $2.5 million of his own money to win a seat in the Texas House. If this race was competitive, and it wasn’t, he would have needed about $500,000 to win. His opponent raised only $4000 and had absolutely no idea what it meant to run besides running. So Money Mayes won and is doing the bidding of the Republican Party to limit access to voting.
Money Mayes has filed House Bill 1026 which will remove deputy voter registrars from registering voters on behalf of the county. VDRs reach out to potential voters to help them register. They are responsible for registering the vast majority of new voters. They are required to train every 2 years and there are serious consequences for breaking the rules of the program. I personally have never heard about any abuse of this program but that doesn’t stop Money Mayes.
I am sure Money will say something like “I’m protecting the sanctity of the vote” or something like that. Money really should look up the word sanctity as in the “sanctity of marriage” when it comes to Donald Trump. LOL They have no idea what the word means
Watch for other Representatives like Dennis Paul HD129 to co-sponsor this stupidity. You can track this and other bills at LegiScan.
Texas Republican Congress Members: Patriots or P*ssies?
January 14, 2021
Pussies. Every single one of them.
In a heated argument Trump told his Vice President that he could go down as a Patriot or a Pussy when it comes to overthrowing the election. Congress Members had the same options when it came to impeaching Trump for insurrection They could be a Patriot or a bunch of scared little pussies. The Republicans in Texas chose to be pussies.
According to the Houston Chronicle the following republicans were afraid of their own party, and are still afraid of Trump:
Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Houston Crenshaw said he couldn’t support impeachment because the process lacked a “sober review of the facts.” He added that Trump at his rally outside the White House last week “whipped many of those present into a frenzy that contributed, in part, to the assault on the Capitol resulting in the deaths of several American citizens, including at least one Capitol Hill police officer.”
Rep. Jodey Arrington, R-Lubbock “The president didn’t incite a riot. The president didn’t lead an insurrection,” Arrington said. “I’m not saying the president didn’t exercise poor judgment, but to criminalize political speech by blaming lawless acts on the president’s rhetoric is wrong and a very dangerous precedent.”
Rep. Brian Babin, R-Woodville “This impeachment is purely about political posturing and a catchy CNN headline — it’s a disgrace,” Babin said. “Our 240-plus years of proud history and those who died to ensure America was victorious through its many trials deserve better than the mockery unfolding before us today in Congress.”
Rep. Kevin Brady, R-The Woodlands “Those calling for impeachment or invoking the 25th Amendment in response to President Trump’s rhetoric this week are themselves engaging in intemperate and inflammatory language and calling for action that is equally irresponsible and could well incite further violence,” Brady said. “They are placing a desire for vengeance above the best interests of the country. President-elect Joe Biden is right to reject calls to go down this dangerous path which will only further divide the country.”
Rep. Michael Burgess, R-Pilot Point “The rioters who stormed the Capitol were wrong and should be held accountable, but it is time for America to heal,” Burgess said. “In less than a week, President Trump will be leaving office and President-elect Biden will be sworn into office. Continuing to pursue impeachment will just further increase the partisan divide.”
Rep. Michael Cloud, R-Victoria “Sadly, under current Democratic leadership, impeachment has become a politicized tool — part of the cancel culture movement of the left to silence dissent,” Cloud said. “With only one week until Inauguration Day, it is not in the best interest of the nation to move forward in this way.”
Rep. Pat Fallon, R-Sherman “Just addressed the House Chamber for the very first time to speak AGAINST this silly & wasteful resolution to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove the President with only a week left in office,” Fallon wrote on Facebook. “Surreal that DC is this hyper-partisan. Sad. Let’s work for ALL Americans and stop this ridiculous infighting. #Enough! #GodBlessAmerica.”
Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Tyler Gohmert said impeaching the president without an investigation or committee hearings sets a dangerous precedent.“Now the message is, if you have a whim and you want to just go after a president, just go straight to the floor, no investigation, no judiciary committee,” Gohmert said. “Use it as a political weapon as you wish.”
Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-San Antonio “America needs a steady hand to calm our nation’s unrest. Today’s vote on impeachment was another partisan move forced by Nancy Pelosi,” Gonzales said in a statement. “With one week left in President Trump’s term, the latest efforts to impeach the president does nothing to heal our country.””We are bitterly divided right now – and this effort only worsens that divide.”
Rep. Lance Gooden, R-Terrell “Democrats couldn’t help themselves with just seven days left,” Gooden said. “Proud to oppose impeachment yet again.”
Rep. Ronnie Jackson, R-Amarillo “We should prioritize restoring communities devastated by lockdowns, America’s vaccine rollout, and a bipartisan investigation into the U.S. Capitol attack over a divisive impeachment process,” Jackson said.
Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Austin McCaul said he opposed impeachment “with a heavy heart” because “rushed justice is not the solution to mob violence.” “I did not come to this decision lightly,” McCaul said. “And I truly fear there may be more facts that come to light in the future that will put me on the wrong side of this debate.”
Rep. Troy Nehls, R-Richmond “This impeachment is rushed, preempts any semblance of a proper inquiry into what occurred on January 6th, and throws fuel on the fire of division at a time our country so desperately needs unity and healing,” Nehls said. “The American people want us focused on COVID-19 relief and the economy, not impeachment.”
Rep. Chip Roy, R-Austin “The President of the United States deserves universal condemnation for what was clearly in my opinion impeachable conduct: Pressuring the vice president to violate his oath to the Constitution to count the electors,” Roy said. “Unfortunately my Democratic colleagues drafted articles that I believe are flawed and unsupportable.”
Rep. Van Taylor, R-Plano “Impeachment of a President, elected by the American people, requires thorough investigation, Congressional hearings, and thoughtful deliberation,” Taylor said. “We must not allow our Republic to devolve to the point of allowing impeachment, and subsequent removal, of a sitting president based on news reports and social media pundits.”
Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Irving “I should be in my district working for my constituents, instead I’m back here in Washington because the majority couldn’t resist another made-for-TV impeachment.”
Rep. Randy Weber, R-Friendswood “Temperatures are still running high and the FBI says more violence is threatened,” Weber said. “Now with only eight days remaining in President Trump’s term, attempting to invoke the 25th Amendment or impeaching the president or any other measure attempting to remove him from office will only add fuel to the fire.”
Rep. Roger Williams, R-Austin “Today’s rushed vote on impeachment will only further divide the American people,” Williams said. “There will be a peaceful transfer of power on January 20, 2021 — we must move forward for the good of the Republic.”
Rep. Ron Wright, R-Arlington “It’s time that we all come together, not as Democrats and Republicans, but as Americans,” Wright said. “Abandoning norms and traditions to impeach President Trump with less than ten days left in his term will only cause more hatred and division across our communities.”

Calling for the resignation of Houston City Councilman Greg Travis
December 31, 2020
City Council Members
Houston City Council
Houston, Texas
Reference: Calling for CM Travis to resign
Councilmembers,
CM Travis racist and inappropriate comments on Facebook towards women and people of color cannot be ignored.
This is no longer an issue about CM Travis. We now know exactly who he is. He has told us. Now it is time for you to tell us who you are and whether you will tolerate his racist remarks and take no action. Over the last 5 years racists across the country have responded to the dog whistles from our elected officials and more and more are coming out with racist comments because there are no consequences for their actions. Now one has come out on City Council. That needs to stop. Now!
I hope you will demand his resignation even though he will not, then demand an apology even though he has refused, then censure him, and then remove him from his committee assignments. This will send a strong, clear signal to anyone running for city council that racism and inappropriate comments will not ever be tolerated. Not know. Not ever.
For the so called “conservatives” on city council, let me remind you that racism is not a conservative value. Neither is making fun of a disabled person, or having sex with a porn star while married, or calling elected officials childish names, or lying, cheating, stealing. Over the last 5 years conservative values have been left in the gutter with excuses like “I don’t agree with his racist comments, but I like my 401K” or “I don’t agree with his racist comments, but I like how he advocates for the dog shelters”. If you call yourself a conservative, then act like one, for once.
Due to term limits many of you have nothing to lose calling for his resignation, except your dignity. Others will have to answer for their lack of action during endorsement screenings next year. How will you respond to the question “What action did you take when confronted with a racist in City Council?”.
As a father of a successful professional daughter who is a woman of color I am extremely upset about CM Travis comments. I sincerely hope you will start the new year right by taking decisive action and demanding Councilmember Greg Travis to resign. I also hope you will respond with what you intend to do.

December 29, 2020Clear Lake Republican Steve Stockman pardoned
December 23, 2020
Yesterday Trump pardoned a group of criminals including the former worthless Congressman Steve Stockman. Stockman represented the Clear Lake area for two terms, 16 years apart. Over those couple of years his accomplishments were few, if any, besides tweeting like a 2 year old.
In 2017 Stockman was convicted on 23 out of 24 charges concerning an elaborate scheme to steal money from donations and a charity. It was so bad his own staff testified against him. He was sentenced to 10 years in jail. Yesterday his prayers were answered and he was pardoned. Stockman will remain a felon. He will not be able to own a gun which in itself is a jail sentence for a gun nut like Stockman.
Stockman is a poster child for redistricting reform. After Stockman quit his seat to challenge Cornyn in 2014 Brian Babin took his place. As I said in a previous post:
The district is Babin’s too keep until he retires, dies, or ends up in jail. It doesn’t matter what kind of lies Babin will tell his constituents, or how racist he may seem he will remain in office. His district is a 70/30 split giving a well financed Democrat about a 30% or less of the vote, every time. 2018 was no different.
Watch for Stockman to join Fox News, Qanon, or Newsmax.
