Conservative TX State Senator Charles Schwertner joins dick pic club

September 27, 2018

What is it with Republicans sending dick pics? Texas State Senator Charles Schwertner website claims he is a “physician, family man, and life-long conservative.” yet he may have just joined Congressman Joe Barton in the republic party dick pic club. The University of Texas is investigating and may ban him from the campus.  From FoxNews: (yes….even Fox News is reporting this)

Schwertner allegedly texted the student, “I just really want to f— you,”  and sent her a photo of what appeared to be his genitals in the shower. The image does not show his face, officials said, and the student never responded to the message.

Gross. Ew. Ewww. EWWWWWW!

Oh my gosh what the hell is going on with the republic party? Joe Barton resigned in disgrace after sending dick pics leaving a Congressional seat he held for decades suddenly open. You would have thought a physician, family man, and life-long conservative would have been smart enough to expose himself in person instead of sending a text. What ever happened to the age old sexy phone call, or meeting in the cloak room, or grabbing them by the p****?

Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert had this to say about Schwertner: “I can’t help but wonder when I see you looking there, with a little smirk, how many times did you look so innocent into your wife’s eye and lie to her about your dick pic”

Ok. He didn’t say that towards Schwertner, but he could have. Lt Governor Dan Patrick had this to say: “Holy f***! What the living hell was he thinking? It’s sad I have to tell my own Senators to not send dick pics! Do it in person!”

Ok. He didn’t say that either.

#NobodyLikesTedCruz. Even other Republicans

September 27, 2018

From an op-ed in the Houston Chronicle written by a former Republican consultant who worked on the campaigns of Senator John McCain and George W. Bush:

Texas is too big, too diverse and too great a state to be the continual launching pad for a senator who, six years into office, can boast of no major accomplishment other than having exactly one friend: Utah Republican Mike Lee. Cruz’s relationships are transactional and in the service of his personal mission. Cruz, like too many Texas Republicans these days, would sacrifice what is best about the Lone Star State — low unemployment, a leader in science and technology, a massive economic engine — on the altar of tribalism.

Ted’s got a likability problem. He has a trustworthy problem. You never know which side he is on except for the PACs that support him. If he wouldn’t defend his own wife or father, how can anyone believe he will defend theirs? Cruz is in it to win it for Cruz and only Cruz. Even Republicans are finally figuring this out.

There is not much more that could be added. It’s clear. #NobodyLikesTedCruz and #NobodyTrustsTedCruz

The Status of Debates in Texas. Remember the Alamo?

September 25, 2018

For a state that worship the heroes of the Alamo and claims to be “Tough as Texas” we sure do have a lot of Republicans tucking tail not willing to debate their opponents. Here is the status of debates in Texas:

  • Texas CD36: Republican Brian Babin refuses to debate his Democratic challenger, Dayna Steele.
  • Texas CD22: Republican Pete Olson refuses to debate his Democratic challenger, Sri Preston Kulkarni.
  • Texas CD14: Republican Randy Weber refuses to debate his Democratic challenger, Adrienne Bell
  • Texas Governor: Governor Abbott has agreed to 1 debate with his Democratic challenger Lupe Valdez.
  • Texas Lt Gov: Republican Dan Patrick refuses to debate his Democratic challenger Mike Collier.
  • Texas Attorney General: Republican Ken Paxton refuses to debate his Democratic challenger Justin Nelson.
  • Texas Ag Commissioner: Republican Sid Miller refuses to debate his Democratic challenger Kim Olson.
  • Texas Land Commissioner: Republican George P. Bush refuses to debate hs Democratic challenger Miguel Suazo
  • Texas HD129: Republican Dennis Paul refuses to debate his Democratic challenger, Alex Karjekar.
Wow. Republicans forgot the Alamo.

Unfit for office: TX Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller

September 25, 2018

Sid Miller has become the clown rodeo of the Texas Republic Party. He does not deserve to be an elected official much less a human being.

CAUTION: This non-endorsement contains curse words. Rated M, L, V, D

Eugene from Preacher

Sid Miller is an asshole. A giant Texas sized asshole. It doesn’t take a mental giant to understand why. Even the Dallas Morning News, who endorsed his opponent, agreed. They didn’t call Miller an asshole but I bet they wanted to. Like the asshole Miller is, he refused to interview with the DMN. And like the coward he is, Miller has also refused to debate his opponent.

There are so many reasons that disqualify Miller from serving a doggie treat to a dog or serving as an elected official in Texas. Texas Republicans used to have a sense of honor, dignity,  and decency but that has been slowly eroded and culminated into the party of trump. Like trump, Miller resorts to name calling, race baiting, and using language that would embarrass anyone’s mother, except for republicans. That is who he is. Mini-Trump. An asshole.

Miller has used his social media to make awful comments about his constituents, not the white ones, but any non-Christian or Hispanics, Muslims, and women. He referred to a woman candidate using the C word. Usually calling a woman the C word results in getting fired from your job and a boot so far up your ass your breath will smell like Desenex for a month and a Sunday. Instead his actions qualified Miller for a position on the trump cabinet and a symbol of the Texas Republic Party.

Sid Miller has become a perfect symbol of the new Texas Republic Party. He is a Texas sized asshole of a human being who should never be allowed to hold an elected position.

This non-endorsement is rated D for drug use. You have to be on drugs to vote for this asshole.

#NobodyLikesTedCruz. Even delegates to the Republican Convention

From a letter to the editor in the Dallas Morning News from a Delegate to the Texas Republican Party Convention. A picture is worth 87 words:

Texas Congressman attacks law enforcement!

September 24, 2018

Who would have thunk it?

Many people believe the Republic Party is pro law enforcement, but that really isn’t true anymore. Case in point, Texas Congressman Brian Babin. Babin has continued his attack on the men and women of the Federal Bureau of Investigation with his latest email to his constituents:

Two weeks ago, I joined with my House colleagues to call for the declassification of the Carter Page FISA warrant application. This past week, President Trump delivered by ordering the FISA application, key documents, and text messages to be declassified. I hope these documents will be released without delay so the American people can get the answers that they deserve.

A few months ago Babin supported the disclosure of classified information questioning the FBI and it blew up in his face. His party claimed the information was “worse than Watergate  and would end in indictments. It didn’t. It was yet another bust. He has also claimed the men and women of the FBI have created a “secret society” to stage a coup against the president. He has worn the aluminum foil hat with pride to protect the president.

Once upon a time the republic party was the party of “law and order”, tough on crime, protectors of the universe. Today Babin and his party have shown their true colors by supporting and making excuses for the most corrupt human being to ever hold the office of president.

There will be a time when Brian Babin will have to take a break from attacking law enforcement and wipe the egg off his face.

Nothing is too low for Clear Lake Republicans

September 22, 2018

It’s getting to be a pattern with the members of the republic party.

From the Houston Chronicle

First we had the Fort Bend Republic Party stooping to a new low as they reached out to Hindu-Americans in an ill conceived ad

The ad appeared to be an attempt to reach out to Hindus on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and urged Hindu American voters in the county to vote Republican by asking “Would you worship a donkey or an elephant? The choice is yours.”

The party has since apologized for it. Now we have the republicans in Clear Lake showing, once again, their true white colors with the backing of the tea baggers of the area attacking a parent of one of the Sante Fe shooting victims. Rhonda Hart attended a gathering with Ted Cruz and his white supporters after he unveiled the new Space Force uniforms at NASA designed by Ivanka Trump Inc. After confronting Cruz as a parent who lost their child to gun violence, the tea baggers shouted her down. From KTRK:

Rhonda Hart stormed the crowded room at Franca’s Italian Restaurant. She stood on a chair and shouted, “Don’t disrespect my daughter. My daughter died. My daughter died.”
Some in the crowd reacted harshly. Cruz, a Republican, calmed them down and offered his condolences.

“You still have not introduced common-sense reform,” Hart yelled.

Ms Hart is right. Besides thoughts and prayers and photo ops at the sites of the massacres, Cruz and the Republic Party hasn’t done a thing to prevent gun violence since the shooting in Santa Fe, or Sutherland, or Orlando, Las Vegas, or even Sandy Hook where 20 kindergarten kids were gunned down. They have done nothing. Absolutely nothing.

These so called “conservatives” in the Clear Lake republicans continued their harsh attacks towards a mother who lost her child in the comments sections of the Houston Chronicle:

A naive tool of the left, sorry for your loss and for your lack of how gun laws and the second amendment work. Find something useful to do with your life or move to Chicago and work on the guns laws there.

AM sorry her daughter died. But am more sorry for the death of freedoms.

So now she had her 5 minutes of fame to prove that she doesn’t know what she’s talking about and the chronicle tried to sensationalize it to promote the fake Mexican Beto!

Sorry Libs, the NRA and Ted have never shot anybody.

And those are just a few of the nasty comments left by the right. Like the republicans in Fort Bend, there is nothing too low for the republicans in Clear Lake. Nothing.

Unlike Fort Bend, don’t expect an apology from the Clear Lake republicans.

Texas State Representative Dennis Paul on education

September 21, 2018

Dennis Paul is heartbroken. Bless his heart.

According to Paul’s website Dennis Paul is heartbroken about rising property taxes and school funding. HEARTBROKEN! From his website:

Every year, property taxes in HD 129 continue to increase. It is heartbreaking to hear the stories of residents being forced out of their homes because they can’t pay their property tax bills. I support revamping our property tax burden for school funds, helping fund our schools with sales tax proceeds and lowering our district’s property tax rate. But I don’t intend to do a damn thing about it.

Ok. I added the last sentence, but it is true. If an elected official is so heartbroken about property taxes, then do something about it don’t just yap about it. Paul needs to remember this is a problem created by his party. His party reshaped school funding over 15 years ago and its been an incredible failure resulting in a drop in funding, cuts to teachers, skyrocketing health insurance, and more. It’s incredible that any teacher would ever vote for a republican. But they do. Ugh.

According to Reform Austin not only has property taxes skyrocketed, revenues from the state has continued to shrink. Right under Paul’s nose.

Consider Clear Creek ISD. In Fiscal Year 2016, CCISD received $129.3 million in state funding, while local taxpayers paid $280.6 million. By Fiscal Year 2018, state funding decreased to $106 million, while local taxpayers’ share ballooned to $323.7 million. The state’s share dropped 18 percent while the local share went up 15 percent in just three years.
A similar situation is occurring in Pasadena ISD. In 2016, PISD received $358.8 million in state funding, while local taxpayers paid $157 million. In 2017, state funding decreased to $347.4 million, while local taxpayers’ share increased to $168.8 million. The state’s share dropped 10 percent while the local share went up 8 percent in just one year.

Dennis Paul may be heartbroken but he isn’t listening probably because he has never had a town hall meeting with his constituents. Much like every other republican.

Ivanka Trump unveils Space Force clothing at NASA/JSC

TX Senator Ted Cruz bringing home the Canadian bacon

September 20, 2018

Ted Cruz just can’t stop saying stupid things to fire up his base. He has adopted his presidents methods of name calling and resorting to lies and exaggerations. It’s all he has at this point.

He claimed his opponent Congressman Beto O’rouke was going to bring tofu to Texas, even though the soybean industry is thriving in Texas. He ridiculed those with colored hair including his wife who…colors her hair…and is a vegetarian. He even questioned bringing silicon production to Texas.  (Or was it silicone?)
He is now making ill advised statements about Beto banning barbecue. This coming from Ted Cruz, born and raised in Canada. The only thing Cruz should be talking about is bacon. Canadian bacon. From the Washington Post Ted said:

“I’ve got to say, they summed up the entire election,” Cruz told the crowd inside the restaurant. “If Texas elects a Democrat, they’re going to ban barbecue across the state.”

And the crowd wasn’t sure if he meant it or not. Ted should stick to pizza. With mushrooms, jalepenos, and Canadian bacon.

Morons.
