The Republican Party returns to it’s roots: Khaos. Korruption. Kruelty.

August 6, 2022

Back in 1992 I watched the entire Republican Convention. I remember saying “Phil Gramm bored me. Pat Robertson scared the crap out of me.” Today’s Republican Party attending the CPAC convention should terrify everyone.

CPAC used to be a convention for conservatives, people who believed in respect, honor, and dignity. It was the rally convention for the Republican Party. Today it’s more like the KKK representing the party with Khaos, Korruption, and Kruelty.

Greg Abbott spoke at the convention and gave a standing ovation to their speaker, the extreme far right Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban who warned about mixing races, the gay community, non-whites, and non-christians among other racist topics. The speech was nothing but racist.

The convention showed that the Republican Party has returned to it’s true roots of the KKK. They are nothing but Khaos, spewing lies about election fraud when they lose. They cause chaos just for the sake of causing chaos. They lie about everything and when faced with facts, they simply double down on the lies knowing their base are too lazy to research.

They are Korrupt with many running for office with felony indictments like our State Attorney General Ken Paxton. They are running to the defense of over 800 charged with the assault on our capitol on Jan 6. They turn a blind eye to those who are breaking the law just as long as they are on their side.

And they are simply Kruel. Republicans love to intimidate, allowing 18 year olds to buy assault weapons and walk in public with them. They vilify those that seek a better life here in the United States. They separate children from their mothers. They talk tough. They act tough but are actually cowards like Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley running away when faced with conflict. They enjoy pushing the envelope on decency, common sense, and honor. They are racist.

This is the old Republican Party. This is the new Republican Party.

Hispanic Caucus at the Texas Democratic Convention

July 15, 2022

Another large and enthusiastic crowd at the Hispanic Caucus.

Luckily they put party business before speeches electing two State Democratic Executive Committee (SDEC) members and then passing a resolution to endorse current Chair Gilberto Hinojosa before adjourning.

Although the vast majority of members loudly supported Hinojosa there were pockets that were not. No one nominated either of the other two candidates so it is hard to gauge his support but it does seem to be pretty solid, but not completely. We heard from Carroll Robinson and he seemed to have a solid argument for a change in leadership. I look forward to hearing Kim Olson speak.

Many of the speakers talked about the strength of the Hispanic vote unfortunately over the last few elections Hispanics have not voted their strength. I have seen this party work on issues that are core to the Hispanic community for years, decades, and yet they do not vote their strength. If they would no one who makes fun of our language would ever hold office again. No one who puts a target on our backs because of our skin color would ever hold office again. Yet….they do not vote their strength.

Personally I have no idea WTF they are waiting for. Their kids have been shot. Their electricity cut off. They are targeted by white supremacy groups. Their home insurance, electricity, taxes, home prices have skyrocketed. WTLF are they waiting for?

WHAT THE F*CK? Greg Abbott poses with indicted Proud Boys leader

June 12, 2022

What the living f*ck is happening in Texas?

First we have a Republican candidate for the Texas Senate, Bianca Gracia, meeting with the Proud Boys leader, Enrique Tarrios and Elmer Stewart Rhodes the leader of the Oathkeepers a day before the Jan 6 insurrection. Both have been indicted for seditious conspiracy which if convicted would put them in jail for 20 years.

Now the “conservative” Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, has been photographed with Joe Biggs, a leading figure in the Proud Boys organization. Biggs has also been indicted for seditious conspiracy and could face 20 years in prison. Seditious Conspiracy is defined as:

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

It doesn’t matter if he took the pic prior to the indictment. The bottom line is he took a pic with Joe Biggs an extreme white wing nut. What the living f*ck was he thinking and what does this have to do with Hunter Biden? Abbott is more crippled than we ever thought.

What does the (R) stand for behind a political candidates name?

May 18, 2022

(R) Racist.

Enough with being nice about this. We need to say it and say it loud. If you are running as a republican then you need to own the title. When you stand silent while racism runs rampant in your own party then you need to embrace the title. When you stand silent and allow racists to take over your party then you need to wear it and wear it with pride. Unfortunately many are doing just that.

The Republican latest racist dog whistle, following the racist dog whistle “CRT” issue, is now the Great Replacement Theory which claims minorities are being bussed into the United States to replace racist white folks and those in the Republican Party. Now I understand what the Republican Party’s chant of “Jews will not replace us!” means.

The GRT that Fox News and Tucker Carlson promoted played a significant role in the Buffalo shooting where a well armed, radical, racist, gun nut killed 10 African Americans and yet the leaders of the party stand silent, or are using GRT as a campaign talking point. They have stood silent as the leader of their party refers to Native Americans as Pocahontas, Mexicans as rapists, Muslims as terrorists, Asians as virus speakers, and nazis as “good people”.

So, what does the (R) stand for behind a political candidate running for office? Own the title.

Mexican MAGAts running for office: Vidal Martinez, Richard Vera, and Bianca Grancia

February 27, 2022

It’s embarrassing.

The Republican Party has worked hard to recruit Mexican MAGAts to run for office. One is running for Harris County Judge (Vidal Martinez), another is running for Harris County Commissioner (Richard Vera), and another for Senate District 11 (Bianca Grancia).

Mexican MAGAts have endorsed the values of the Republican Party including making fun of disabled people and fucking a porn star, paying her off, and lying about it. They endorse making comments about African nations calling them shitholes, referring to Native Americans as “Pocahontas”, siding with white supremacists, Nazis, and pushing the envelope with white wing racist remarks. They endorse lying on a daily basis, referring to women as c*nts, and siding with dictators like Putin. They place blame on those from south of the border for all the ills of the country while their white republican buddies laugh behind their backs, blaming them for all the ills of the country. They endorse elected officials acting like a bunch of assholes, spewing hate, and dividing their constituents. They endorse lying, cheating, and stealing. They endorse flooding our streets with guns. They endorse the cowards who run in the face of danger such as Texas Senator Ted Cruz.

These are not the values of most Mexican Americans. These are not the values of most human beings. These are the values of the republican party. The party of the biggest racist, asshole in political history, Donald Trump.

Tio Tomases have their nose buried up trump’s ass. That’s another thing we don’t value. We don’t kiss ass and we don’t tolerate those who do.

Another Harris County Republican lost his job due to racist comments

January 17, 2022

What the living f*ck has happened to the Harris County Republican Party? (you know the answer)

Another republican from the Harris County Republican Party has lost their job due to making racist comments. Cy-Fair ISD Trustee Scott Henry, who was endorsed by the Harris County Republican Party, made racist comments at his first school board meeting. He has now lost his job with a software company out of California. Henry has since removed his campaign website and all his social media account. I would bet he will be resigning from Cy-Fair ISD soon.

Back in 2020 the newly elected chair of the Harris County Republican Party, Kieth Nielsen, made a racist post concerning a Martin Luther King quote. That racist quote cost him his position as the Planning Commissioner of Pasadena. He later resigned as chair.

Former City Councilman Greg Travis, another HCRP republican, also make racist comments. City Council couldn’t remove him from his committee assignments because he had already resigned many months before. They also couldn’t fire him and since he is self employed he wouldn’t fire himself. Unfortunately his so called “conservative” buddies on City Council, Knox, Kubosh, and Martin said nothing, did nothing. They sat quietly while Travis eventually quit….to run for State Representative.

Good luck with the job hunt.

And…..this is how to respond to racist comments by elected officials

January 16, 2022

Cy-Fair ISD Trustee Scott Henry, who was endorsed by the Harris County Republican Party, made racist comments at his first school board meeting. He has now lost his job with a software company out of California. From KHOU:

CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) — The Cypress Fairbanks ISD trustee at the center of a viral video in which he linked Black teachers to poor school performance is out of a job, according to Splunk.

Splunk, which is an IT company, shared the news of Scott Henry no longer being an employee in response to a tag on Twitter.

Henry could have immediately issued a statement sincerely apologizing for his comments and he could have been spared but he had another problem. Turns out his social media account was chock full of divisive comments. He has since cancelled all of his accounts.

And he has since been cancelled from his job.

Trump SausageFest coming to Montgomery County Texas!

January 15, 2022

If you are wondering where all the racist republicans of Montgomery County will be, wonder no more! A SausageFest is coming! I bet Greg Abbott will be busy doing something other than attending. Maybe he will be kicking a puppy.

When you tolerate racism in elected officials. Cy-Fair ISD Trustee Scott Henry

January 13, 2022

Remember Houston City Council Member Greg Travis? He was the one that quit all of his committee assignments leaving the work to his colleagues. He then quit to run for State Representatives. He was also under fire for making racist comments with many asking him to resign. City Council eventually took no action and he is now running for higher office.

Cy-Fair ISD Trustee Scott Henry, who was endorsed by the Harris County Republican Party, is following in the footsteps of Greg Travis claiming that a more diverse teacher population leads to lower performance. “The more black folk the worse the grades are.” Ok, he didnt say it in that way but from the Houston Chronicle:

“Do you know what the statewide percent is for Black teachers? 10 percent. Houston ISD, which I’ll use to shine an example, you know what their average percentage of Black teachers is? 36 percent. I looked that up. You know what their dropout rate is? 4 percent. I don’t want to be 4 percent. I don’t want to be HISD. I want to be a shining example. I want to be the district standard. I want to be the premium place where people go to be.”

Well he should of just said “The more black folk the worse the grades are.” because that is what he said. Mayor Turner, County Judge Hidalgo and others have called for him to resign. And he should. This is an opportunity to make a huge statement to any closet racist.

And present them from ever running for office again.

Texas Republican Party issues statement on racist comments by Texas Lt Governor Dan Patrick

August 24, 2021

In response to the racist comments made by Texas Lt Governor Dan Patrick switching the blame for the COVID outbreak in Texas from Mexicans to African Americans the Texas Republican Party has issued the following statement:
